I'll be heading there with my girlfriend, father, and brother. We were planning on leaving after the game, but is there anything on campus worth checking out?

starkville isnt that bad of a place, except for the bars shutting down at 1 and they do last call at like 12.. and with it being bulldog bash this weekend there will be alot more people in town, and alot of my friends up there say its gonna be a little more crazy because its LSU, and they really think they have a chance at beating us this year.. guess none of us can blame them the way we have started

I graduated from state last year and this is one of the 2 biggest weekends of the year. With LSU coming to town on the same weekend as Bulldog Bash, it should be the biggest weekend of the year. Lots of good bands gonna be playing in the cotton district. Third Eye Blind is headlining this year. They block off the roads in the cotton district and set up 2 big stages in the streets, right in the middle of 4 bars. And there are 2 more bars about a half mile down University. (Mugshots and Barristers)

Its gonna be an awesome weekend, lots of food, football, and friends!!!

The county is dry, but the city isnt. Just purchase your alcohol in town on gameday.

Sounds like you have your priorities out of order when following the Tigers on the road.
Were you going to Starkville for the game or for vacation?

The Flames are fun as hell. R&B/Motown dancing and shite. Horns. Good stuff.

The 'events director at MooU said there's a big grassy lot about 10 minutes from the stadium where you can set up a tailgate. IF he knows what he's talking about, he said it's just south of the traffic light at the intersection of Stone Blvd and Bully Blvd. He said the so-called 'junction' is a big grassy lot adjacent to the stadium but typically not used for tailgates...for what it's worth.

The Junction is primarily used for tailgates.

Here is a picture from a few years ago and a link to the webcam:
