You're lucky then. I was at the game with my sick wife who I shouldnt have dragged out in the first place but she is a fan and didnt want to miss it, and it isnt often we get to go anymore.

Actually LSU fans are a lot more compliant than they used to be. I remember back in the 80's when I was a student, you could look out on the stadium and not detect much in the way of purple or gold. People just wore whatever.

I think all of the "insert whatever color" OUTS are just a gimmick to get the crowd excited at places where they feel they need to generate excitement. LSU used to be at that place with Dinardo with the white out and gold out. But isn't LSU kind of beyond that now? How much more freaking excited can the crowd possibly be than what they will already be for Alabama? or Georgia?
Penn State doing a white out is so expected. They have to do anything and everything to get those blue hairs in the stands to make noise. It's as bad as Michigan.

The Children of the Corn wear red at their games b/c they only have 1 color in their scheme. They do that the day before games too & most other days of the yr. There's no other place in the world more obsessed w/ the color red since the fall of the USSR.
Preemptive response: White doesn't count since it's not a color; it's the absence of color.
