I'm sorry man, but this is not an article. Not to feed the delusions of grandeur of some of the rantards, but I've actually seen better stuff on the rant. If it was any worse it would be called "The Forde Yard Dash".

If he's so awful, as you allege, then why was he inserted in the lineup when LSU really needed to pass the ball or come from behind last season?

Because JJ was fairly awful.

I have no doubt that Mett is talented, but talent with no experience is a recipe for disaster in the SEC.

You have to start at some point.

BTW, I believe you got your prediction for Lee's passing stats confused with JJ, who went nearly the entire season throwing for less than a hundred yards a pop.

JJ had a higher yards per attempt, so you are wrong.

Saturday night, you will be proven a fool.

Hopefully.

Angel Sanchez was batting over .300 to start the month of April, wasn't he? I bet you were losing your shite when he was playing so well. I would have loved to have told you about it, but you used your "ignore button" to ignore my posts like a pussy.

LOL. First off, as far as I know there is no "ignore" button on TD. I told you there was so that you would stop replying to me and I wouldn't have to read your moronic posts.

I don't want to turn this into a MSB post so I'll just say. GO LEE!

BayouBengals, you are a respected poster on TD, tell me, why is TigerLand so in love with Lee? He is not that good. As a whole last season, he went 54-of-89 for a whopping 573 yards, yet everyone treats this guy as if he's Tommy Hodson or Rohan Davey.

What gives?

I don't think anyone treats him like he is some sort of savior, but people do like his experience and the ability to lead the team late in games that he showed last season.

He isn't as amazing as a few people are making him out to be. However, he isn't as bad as you are making him out to be either. He's very serviceable. And at times, he can be very good.

If Lee doesn't play well, even if it's the first game of the season, then we may see Mettenberger early on. I certainly expect to see him taking a lot of snaps this season. But for now, you have to go with Lee until he proves that he's not the right guy for the job.

Personally, I can't wait to see Jerrard Randall a few years down the line.

You have to admit, Angel Sanchez was playing awesome in the first month of the year and he was far from the horrible names you called him prior to the season.

I'll take my apology...now

Nice try. But articles and evidence of the past will not do it when discussing lee. We can only watch the game and see if he has improved. i hope he has for the seasons sake.

Legit article. Can't wait for the follow up titled "Why aren't we starting Jerrad Randle or Stephen Rivers?".

I'm pretty sure this article was written by TexasPete. Sounded so much like his rant the other night. You gotta get off Mett's Knob Pete.

Nah, I did write the Big XII Preview and Baylor Preview for UMonthly, a magazine based in Waco.
