Yeah they played Laired and Stenvenson up the middle basically took the middle away which was smart but if LSU would have adjusted and slapped it the opposite way and if we would have been more patient, game would have looked different IMO. Great game by the Cajuns and I would say they played just as well and caught some breaks when we had runners ISP. ULL basically capitalized every chance they got and LSU didn't that's why it could have been much diff ball game.

Oh really? We out hit LSU 10-5. What are you smoking?

Bottom line fact UL-L played above their pay grade tonight and LSU played below theirs and UL-L still couldn't get it done...

I know Robbins is beating himself over the strikeout that went between his legs. Turned a solo into a 2 run bomb.

So if your third baseman didn't play lights out, the Cajuns wouldn't have been blown out??? It would have been at least 6-0 in the seventh without your third baseman

Yea that's why he's on the team dipshit.

Last I checked, part of baseball is making plays. That's like saying UL would've won if LSU doesn't hit a walk off home run. Captain obvious over here.

How did LSU play so bad?

How did UL play so over their pay grade?

The 10 hits and 3 runs by UL wasn't luck FYI

ULL played a great game. I'm fully expecting another close game tomorrow. LSU needs to figure it out at the plate.

I'm sure he is. Like Jay Walker always says, that's baseball. I'm sure Jared Foster is beating himself over that two out error he made which would have nullified Conrad's solo shot

Exactly, the pitching should be better tomorrow for UL but LSU just seems do for a breakout game. I think it's 5-2 LSU tomorrow. In the end we just don't have enough offense to beat the Tigers.

It must really suck that you're so mad about your team losing that you resort to petty , childish name calling

Yep could have been 3-2 Cajuns in the bottom of the 9th.

That baseball though

We could actually see a high scoring game tomorrow. I agree that the LSU bats are due for a breakout, and Poche has been very inconsistent lately. If we get the Poche from the regional I think we win. If we get the Poche that opened the SEC tournament, ULL is going to put up some runs.

I'm still trying to figure out how LSU won after they lost the last two three inning games.

That Ribicheaux character has been lying to you sad folks.

It's interesting that tonights game was being played on such a razor thin margin. Tomorrow could be dangerous for either team if those starters cant get the innings these teams need. Yea, it could be a shoutout?

Who is UL-L's 3rd pitcher in the rotation if it goes to a game 3?

I agree lsu played below what they are capable, but what makes you think ull played above their capabilities? Ull is a solid team and has been for a few years. No surprise to me that they put up a great fight. A lot of tiger fans are underestimating the Cajuns

Robicheaux has his guys ready. Their scouting report on laird, Stevenson and hones were spot on. This series is not over by a long shot. Their ace pitches tomorrow. We need to come with some HITS

Tough to say but I think Evan Guillory gets the ball on Monday if Gunner can get us there?

I totally agree. Bad news for ULL, though, is if they lose tomorrow by 3 or more runs then it will go down in history that tonight's close game was a fluke.
