No, and I'm not sure if I'm a fan of him now. I never really cared much for screaming rah-rah coaches.

I reserve judgment until I see the results of his hire.

Coach O is no coaching genius. He is a better than average position coach and an absolutely relentless recruiter.

If you want insight, read "Meat Market". It's a book about his recruiting at Ole Miss and USC.

everyone hated him...this board is psychotic. But I will give the guy credit for having more fire in his little finger than Les Miles & staff have in their whole belly. Maybe he will infuse some life into this program, which is slowly dying.

No is the answer, but I don't think everyone on the rant agrees with any topic possible.

I think he revived his image while at USC. His character changed for the better. No one ever questioned his skills though IMO.

This. seemed like a loose cannon at Ole Miss, then followed Kiffin back to USC in the Tennessee debacle. At that point, wouldn't have wanted anything to do with him, but then he was impressive as interim head coach at USC. The guy can flat out motivate anyone and he can coach defense.

OM i've kind of liked him even at USCw

If he can get the D to play with the passion and intensity that they played like at USC, WATCH OUT..... I just hope O and Steele don't clash heads.... O has already overshadowed Steeles hiring..... Miles needs to a get a grip on this QUICK.........

I would imagine O is the one with the bigger ego....but I hope they don't put a muzzle on O's unbridled enthusiasm. It can do nothing but help our team.
Sides.....he could whoop Steele's arse if need be!
