Define a gimmick uniform? We stayed within our color and brand. We’re not out here wearing an all black uniform or something that is predominantly tiger stripes. We wear the “one offs” every two years when Nike updates the uniform template. Expect one within the next year with the template that Oregon is wearing right now.

That is dumb!!!! Young kids love the new looks every once in a while and then we recruits love them too. We still have tradition, but we can add some new things in there. Get over yourself

Black Jerseys with Purple and Gold Tiger Stripes coming from the shoulders down to the numbers. Gold Helmet with the Eye of the Tiger on each side. Black Pants with Purple and Gold down the sides.

Interested to see how flashy. Usually LSU/Nike don’t showcase anything unless we’re playing an UA/Adidas brand school. Maybe they bust out gold jerseys and piss off the 45-70 year olds that will bark about traditions.

Actual gold is what Washington wears, it's what Notre Dame wears, it's what Florida State wears, along with 30 other teams. It's drab and boring and common. LSU's uniforms actually are gold. I think it's called sunflower gold, and it isn't drab, boring and common like all those other teams.

The teams that really need to rock new unis are Alabama and Clemson. I have seen Clemson in the purple jerseys and pants, but very seldom. Bama is so, so far behind. They will never be able to recruit or win games unless they go all crimson.
