True those are all valid points. But those are actually pretty large states. Louisiana is not big enough to have so much Division. States our size aren’t like this.

So much of what is wrong with LSU., from F. king to Alleva to the funding mess, traces back to Bobby Jindal. And in House, many are still practicing Jindalism and killing higher education.

Eg, there were far more Dallas Cowboy fans than Saint fans there.
There’s a ton of cowboys fans in that area because that’s the game that was broadcast on sundays.

The last time LSU won N La Bama was a rival. These past 8-9 years as far as recruiting have been owned by Bama. That’s a long time with a foothold in an area. It will be extremely difficult to overcome. Time and distance to travel there is also a factor - kinda like driving from Houston to BR for us.
Kids there have friends and relatives that are growing up Bama fans because of them taking top talent plus they like a winner. With a personal connection that is a double whammy in terms of loyalty.
South Louisiana- Baton Rouge specifically has more of a pro Bama problem than Monroe and Shreveport.

All of you stating your reason for hating North La being “there’s too many cowboys fans and not saints fans” are idiots. That’s just Shreveport and it’s not like the entire NWLA region is pro cowboys. There’s just a lot because proximity to Tx and Texans who love there for work. I bet you Monroe has more saints fans.

I grew up near Shreveport. Attended and graduated from LSU. Lived in Monroe for 2 years and now I live in Metairie.
I promise you that Tiger fans are pretty damn similar everywhere.
Also Ill tel everyone confidently- Monroe is the most Pro-LSU decent sized city in LA.
