That's why the NFL is stocked with guys from UNLV, Jacksonville State, and yes, even Marshall.
Yes. There are individual talents even on the most ineffective of teams. But the key here, and I know it may come as a bit of a shock, is that football is a team game. If you're looking at individual accomplishments as a guage to the likely outcome, I suggest that a comparison of the least talented players on the respective starting teams (or better yet, a comparison of the average talent across the entire starting unit) is far more likely to provide a useful indicator of which team should prevail than a comparison of the most talented.
There's a cruder, and much more succinct, way of expressing that thought. But I demur.

I wouldn't use the most under-achieving team in the SEC and "Big Game" Bob (1 and 5 in BCS games) as references....just saying
Well, GA won the SEC that year, and got to play in their own backyard, due to Katrina. But that's what I mean....if we win, then it wasn't because we were better. If we lose, the whole would knew we would.
LOL@ Big Game Bob. It's an apt nickname. However, the talking heads that year were saying that OK was most likely the best team in the nation, going into the Fiesta, and there was no doubt they'd kill us. But, your point about Stoops is well taken.

Correct CBS. Ours is the only armed mascot, tigers, bulldogs, gators, hogs, they're all just commerce for the taxidermist.
What about bringing an inflatible penis hat to wear for the tigerbait chants!

Hey, WVA fan, (Chinese Bandit) you sound like you have some common sense. Are you SURE you are from the hill country of West Virginny??? I did not know you people could read and write, much less make sense. Right on, Bro. may the best team (LSU) win.
I would say don't lose your teeth hollering, but you probably don't have any!!

Wasn't Tiger Stadium built in 1926 or something? You guys stomp and make a lot of noise during all your wins? My question is when was the last engineering study conducted on this antique? Is it structurally sound?

Oh, you'll see how "antique" it is Saturday night.

We don't really stomp like some teams do. All the noise we make comes from our drunk lungs and bellies!
The structure is fine. They check it out

It's huge. I was just kidding.
Of course, up here we have to hear about The Horseshoe at OSU and The Big House at UM.
