Wouldn’t it be cool if LSU went up late in the 4th quarter 48-7 and went for 2

You will come to hate Texas more. They think they are Alabama and they will want to control the SEC.
While I agree with the original poster, this opinion is also based in fact. Texas by nature does not play well with others. Consider the University of Texas' arrogant, disruptive past:
It made all the rules in the old Southwest Conference, which drove other schools crazy -- namely, Arkansas, which fled to the SEC as soon as it was asked (1992).
But Texas remained Texas. Its superiority complex has always led Orangebloods to believe they were carrying the league -- any league, every league. They didn't like sharing the money equally.
So they started looking elsewhere, which led to the demise of the Southwest Conference. Texas was going to bolt to the Big Eight on its own, but state politicians made the merger include A&M, Texas Tech and Baylor (the governor was a Baylor grad).
When Texas joined the now-Big 12, it led to Nebraska (and others) leaving that conference.
So that's two conferences that Texas has single-handedly destroyed.
Texas' greed led to the creation of the Longhorn Network, which has been an abject failure from Day One.
That was enough for Texas A&M to cut the cord in 2012 and head for the SEC.
And now here come the Longhorns to the SEC because, as always, Texas is all about only Texas.
You are going to hate them much more than the Aggies, who are still just weird farmers and an odd religious cult.
But by all means, let's enjoy beating the hell out of A&M Saturday.
