There was a lot of very poor zone spacing near the sidelines. When you're in zone, you want to have one guy lurking just waiting to bait the QB into throwing an INT. Instead, we seem to be getting caught just letting receivers hang out between players with wide spacing, making for easy completions. That has to stop.
EDIT: And I agree that's not a scheme problem, but if you have 9 days to prepare for a game, you can still fault the coach for not getting his players better prepared to play safe without playing too safe--i.e., without playing on their heels, which will defeat the purpose of trying to play safe by actually giving up big plays. In sum, it was generally a good game plan, but just implemented too lackadaisically.
