My boss would have called me into his office when news released back in October, not 5 months later...Don't tell me Alleva and WW haven't talked about it then.
The info released back then was completely diff than this latest release. Sure they talked about that and now they wanted to talk about this one

Wherever you work, if your boss called you into a mandatory meeting to discuss a potential legal issue about you (that could affect them, legally) and you decline to have that conversation, you think you should be able to keep your job (or go to work at least)?
First, the allegations being levied against Wade don't effect LSU legally at all. He didn't break any laws, at least not according to the FBI. It has possible NCAA ramifications, but nothing involving the law.
If I haven't exposed my employer to legal vulnerability, yet they insist on meeting with me with their legal counsel and without mine, yeah I'm gonna cross my arms and say no dice, too, ESPECIALLY if I'm going to be a possible witness in an FBI probe.
Look, I'm not faulting LSU for wanting answers, but they chose a really fricking dumb time to push the issue. So in that regard, yes, they did botch this, too. But that shouldn't surprise you or anyone else.
