We couldn't run this season, so what. You idiots act as if we havent been able to run since Crowton got here, which is B.S.

We are talking about one year.

Godfather, for some reason the Crowton & Miles lovers just don't want to see that. They keep excusing it but there is no reason in hell that LSU should finish that poorly on offense with the talent on the team.

Whoa...whoa...i may support Miles, but i dont think Crowton should have been allowed on the plane back from Orlando.

But it is not like our offense played powerhouse defenses either.
Penn State
Florida
Alabama
Ole Miss
Georgia

were the only defenses in the Top 50 they faced

i am not going to go do it, but if you want to you can go look through all those 111 teams that had better offenses and see how many top 50 defenses they played.

thats like the stupid announcers talking about how good oklahoma and texas run defenses are. they play in the big 12, nobody runs the ball in the big 12.

What will your excuse be next year? And he's a sophomore, not a freshman.

Spurrier sat a senior for a freshman once...and won.

I do not have the time for that, but yet I am still willing to bet it would be more than 50. Yet there will be another excuse if I did also.

I have lost it with Miles because he is retaining Crowton. If he does get rid of him and hires a new, competent OC, then I will support him. Crowton is a disaster. Never, ever should it be excused to finish 112th in offense.

nope, i am just saying that there is no way in hell there were 111 teams with better offenses than we had.

Why is that retarded? The question keeps coming up who wins with freshmen (and now sophomore) qbs.

We ran well in '07. I guess we ran well last year, despite KW, Murphy, and Holliday being disappointments.

Will an 11th place running game in '10 suffice in calling LSU a school without a running game? Also, we didn't have one in '05 and '06 (largely due to injury) and '08 was basically negated by the turnovers and poor defense. It's beeen a while since we have had a running game, other than '07, when it REALLY mattered.

According to stats there were. We looked bad against Washington, ULL and not so hot against Tulane as well. The offense sputtered against those "powerhouses" as well.

Because he didn't lead them to any NC games, and pointing to just 1 example is not enough.

Asking our coaches to walk on water is not right.

I can guaran-damn-tee you most, if not all, of those coaches with freshman and sophmore QBs had Offenses that finished ranked well above 112th.

Also, weren't we outgained by 9-10 opponents?

Crowton's offense had us in the lead in the fourth quarter.

If J.J. could have hit our receivers in their hands instead of their feet most of the game, Crowton's offense would have scored more points against Penn St.

Not to mention the playing conditions which took away our talent advantage in speed and magnified their power running advantage. And we still only lost by 2 points.

So, after a 2 point loss in absolutely the worst field conditions immaginable you can find fault with Crowton.

Only idiots with an agenda will agree with you on that one.

Yep and time of possession we were behind in every game, I believe. We also finished DEAD LAST in number of offensive plays this year. 120th. That means we go 3 and out a whole lot.

I could agree with you there, but LSU was outgained yardage wise in 8 games this season. That includes LA Tech, Florida, Alabama, Penn State, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Washington, and Arkansas.

LSU failed to reach 300 total yards in 6 games
LSU gained over 350 yards 2 games
LSU gained over 400 yards only once all season

Cant argue with that. If Crowton stays i will be dissappointed but i will support the team and hope they can turn it around....although i dont see happening as long as Crowton is here.

However...if Miles loses 5-6 games this season, with or without Crowton, its time for him to go.
