What no more dumping on coach Miles? I'm disappointed.
It's just not worth debating with you. The team's discipline and attitude sucked last year, and was an embarrassment to the university in several instances. Hopefully Chavis will really "reign in" the players since apparently that's a responsibility that comes with his role.

and you don't think that coach Miles delegates authority to coach Chavis to "reign" in his players? they are Chavis' players who reports directly to Miles as to what is going on, that is how it works, chain of command. if one of those players starts acting up, Miles then disciplines them, not Chavis.
but I don't see that happening this year, Chavis looks like the type to have a firm grip on his players.
"but if a girl starts acting up, then you take her friend".
I'm sorry, I'm just feeling silly today, don't know why.

If he does, he shouldn't. I can tell you for damn sure Saban wouldn't have tolerated the crap we saw last year, and he sure as hell wouldn't have waited for someone else on his coaching staff to fix it.

Yeah, because it's not like Tennessee has been the poster child for player disciplinary issues the last decade. But regardless, it's Chavis' responsibility to come up with a defensive scheme that puts the team in a position to win, not make sure the players don't chest thump while losing 41-14.

Miles is not Saban, man. don't go there. and I am a Saban fan.
but you got a point with Tenn disciplinary problems.
