I actually think Ole Miss and Arkansas are more important. LSU could lose to Bama and Les save face if LSU does ok with the rest of the west.
Losing to Ole Miss again, or Arkansas for the 3rd time in 4 years would be unacceptable though.

Would even be ok with a competative lose to Alabama if we don't have the blunder losses like the Old Miss game .

LSU won't win the West unless they do indeed beat Alabama. UF, LSU are the only teams that have a real chance to beat us next year.

As long as Miles is coaching this team, there are some on this board that will NEVER shut the frick up. LSU could go undefeated, win the National Championship and have a Heisman winner, and there will still be those that bitch about something.

You people are out of your minds if you think we are going to beat Bama or win the west. LSU has NO CHANCE to win the west next year. I hope I'm wrong but I suspect it's gonna be a very rough season.

I think most of us equate beating Bama to winning the West. So yes. It has become THAT important. The 'Saban thing' is still with us but will disappear a bit more every time we beat the clown. So, beating Bama means lots of things: It means we likely win the West; we've got our Oline problems fixed, our running game is back and we've stopped those silly motion penalties. At least, that's one Tigah fan's opinion. GEAX
