And...... the offense failed to score on its last drive. It's a team game. Get over it Coach.

3rd and Chavis. We were warned about this, his only crutch. An otherwise brilliant coach.

He also cost us last year when he put Spencer Ware under center on 4th and 1 from the Alabama 24 with a chance to go up by 11, only to get stuffed for a 1 yard loss, how dumb of a call.

Offense also failed to do its part at the most critical time in all three games as well.
It's a very concerning trend to piss the game away on the reg. It nearly happened against Arkansas and South Carolina too.

This. Basically, we're paying the price for a weak 2012 class. With top talent leaving for the NFL after 3 years, you basically have to find your playmakers from your last three recruiting classes. Very few freshmen can be impact players, so you need the sophomore and junior classes to perform.
The 2011 class is contributing most of the playmakers, but the 2012 class is a big gaping hole
See,we were told that the 2012 LBer class was going to turn the weakest aspect of our team into a strength. I don't understand how all of a sudden, guys like Louis, Feist, Alexander, Phillips, etc. can't get the job done.
Signing only 1 d-lineman in the class certainly hurt, but With the number of quality LBers and o-linemen in that class, we shouldn't be hurting there.

This is occurring because of the shite Miles put on the field for the BCS championship. It hurt recruiting and encouraged the juniors leaving early to the NFL. That shite he did playing Alabama cost LSU a lot more than just 1 game. It was a nationally televised indictment of poor coaching.

Fans and the media are smart and realize how hard it is to win in college football today. But when you have a head coach making millions that continually screws up on national television (play calling, clock mgmt, 1/9, etc,), they lose respect for him, thus the jokes. This trickles down to the recruits and has a negative affect on each class.
