The punter for Georgia kicked VERY high which gave our guys time to make blocks

or there guys have time to get down the field to cover the kick. ever heard of "out kicking the coverage"? a high kick is preferred which is why they measure a kickers hangtime.

TM7 has incredible ball skills.

Which has ZERO bearing on returning punts after the catch is made.

Amazes me how people misuse this term on this site.

Do you realize high punts with hangtime is the goal so the gunners can get downfield right?

That doesn't give us more time to block for our returner

Les has always handled returns strangely. I just think he felt OBJr had more shift and breakaway speed than TM7 (which he probably does), but TM7 has incredible ball skills.

It's hard to even describe how TM moves, he's very fast and has an incredible eye for finding the seams.

Things we alll know about Nick.
N$ won't punt to TM7.
N$ will sit on a 3 pt lead if he gets it.
N$ will sit on the ball with less than 2 minutes in the half or the end of a tied game.

Wouldn't bother me to see OBJ returning punts this game. I don't think any returner could keep up the pace TM7 has set for the last 2 games, and I think OBJ has some big returns in him.

Field position is an important point, though. If we get any breaks in field position, I think we can control the game.

I Think he ment he kicked it very far.. The Punt Return TD in the Georgia game was kicked out of the end zone and TM7 caught it around the 40.. Beast punt when pressured so TM7 had time to return it
