Will be the same old shite this season. Mett will make a mistake or two in a game and all you will hear from the whiners is why isn't Rivers playing. At least give a few snaps, yada, yada, yada.

Man, its impossible to predict anything like that at this point!! Soooo much can happen that could change things. Apart from what we believe Mett can do, there is much we dont know... We dont know how JR will shake out, we know he has the physical skills, but can he grasp the mental aspect of the game at the SEC level speed of playing..... The same for Kiel, and Rivers... Its wayyyyyy to early to start this thread.

Seriously? Dam man, lets wait until that happens before we start bitching about it. I have to tell my wife that shite about once a month, right before she starts her period, she will complain about things that might happen. She takes Midol and it helps. You might want to try some of that TexasTiger 89.

I hear that Rivers has a great knowlege of the playbook

In all fairness, I don't think LSU's playbook is a difficult one to learn. Based on who ran it recently and the plays we have run.

IF Mett lives up to his press clippings, we've got him for one year only. That alone could keep Rivers on board, along with Gunner. We still have to see if Mett can live up to the hype. If I'm Rivers, I'm not ready to pull the plug anytime soon.

I can only assume he would transfer if he is beat out by Gunner

One injury from the field next year.

Mett went from forgotten to a heartbeat away from your starter after Shady's & then when Lee got nicked against Northwestern State.

JR is the one who gets left out to me at the qb position. Rivers is fricking 6'7 and still growing

I expect Kiel to be way down the road, like three years....Mett's the starter (it's his team), Rivers is his backup....Randle comes in for change of tempo in spots and in garbage time with Rivers...just a prediction.

LSU needs Rivers. More specifically the Rant needs Rivers. He will add fuel to the QB controversy which is the meat that the Rant feeds on.
