Oh yeah btw, there's a statue of Saban on the Alabama campus. "Oh there's the Saban statue, yeah they should fire him."

Then will they take down the statue?

It's only a matter of time before Paterno retires and saban goes north.

That "matter of time" will be after this season. The admin has been wanting a change but didn't know how to move him out the door.
This sex scandal presents the opportunity the "anti-Paterno" folks have been looking for. Penn State will be cleaning house in an attempt to fend some of the heat. We've all seen it before and we'll see again after this season.

When that happens, Saban does what Saban does, he moves on to the next "watering hole". He'll be the front runner for the Penn St. job and he and Urban will be neck and neck for the Ohio St. job. One of the 2 will be his for the taking; I say he's gone.

That writer is a douche.
That's not a writer. Those are "sound off" bits where random people call into the paper and leave a message. They print the messages that are left.

Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if more than one of those were Auburn fans joking around to make Bama fans look bad.

Let me get this straight. There are at least two references by your writers to Reed from LSU snatching the ball from Williams before they came to earth. Yet the photo you have Sunday clearly shows Williams on the ground clutching the ball. Reed clearly took the ball on the ground, which means the play should have been dead with Bama in possession

bama fans whining about what they thought wasn't an interception ohh the irony

I have been saying this since he got to Bama, He will stay and win a title or two and end his carreer at PSU.

What I got out of the comments was, Most believe the interception call was incorrect, and that LSU and Alabama are now even when it came to the Peterson interception 2 years ago.

Am I correct in believing that if neither receiver has control when he hits the ground, it goes to whoever comes up with the ball?

I believe you are correct. The spirit of the rule is that, if a receiver catches a ball with posession and the defender then grabs on the ball, it won't go to the defender. In my mind the receiver never established clear posession of the ball - in fact if no defender were there I believe that ball rolls onto the ground for an incomplete pass. The offensive guy got his hands on the ball, but when he hit the ground he did not have posession of the ball, Reid did.
