Not really is it suppose to? Do you know for a fact that JL has never missed curfew? Do you know for a fact JJ beat on those kids?
I love JL but he hasn't won the starting job in the guys whose opinion actually counts. That must mean something to you right?
Why would a coaching staff start a player who is not as good as his backup? Coaches will not take that chance knowing how quickly fan bases will turn on them for losing.

after all thats came out ...some of you will deffend this guy till nothing s left.
I suppose being the starter for the #4 team in the country, at 2am breaking curfew, getting implicated in a fight in the frickING pariking lot just doesnt matter.

I played in a golf tourn today with 60 other people.
And this was the talk of the day... not the first son of a bitch in the club house aftrewards has your attitude of bla bla bla.. what did he really do? oh hes in college... it wasnt really what they said bla fricking bla fricking bla.
I ask you again,,, is this the characterists and qualities/actions you want out of a SR starting qb at LSU?
This school and football team is better than that and you fricking know it.

Interesting that you qualify yourself as the character/leadership/quality police the way you have been using vulgar language all over this board.
Should the players expect more from the fans that boo, wish injury, wish suspension, etc. upon them? Or judge them before they have even been charged with a crime?
Hell, we have Mettenberger that's been convicted, yet many are calling on him to replace the real bad, mean old JJ with "allegations".

Waiting to get the full story before throwing one of our own under the bus is not defending a "guy till nothing is left".
It's the same thing I would do for JL or any other player.
We all would be better severed taking a deep breath and letting things play out rather than rushing to make a judgment without a better idea of the facts than we have right now, but each to our own.
