You're an idiot! Who would you rather besides Tebow, Wilson, Stafford and maybe 1 or 2 other QB's?
than jarrett lee?
throw out a random name of a quarterback from anywhere else. id probably prefer him.

Jefferson completed half his passes in the second quarter against Ole Miss for most of his yards.
You got to give JJ a pass on that game. He is coming in the middle of the game. He doesnt have enough playbook material to go off of to be more effective.
I gave JLEE a pass after Auburn and his next couple of bad plays or two. But JJ and the offense looked absolutely fantastic against Arkansas in the first half.
Ive only seen LSU offense look amazing 3 times this year.
Second Half against Auburn, Second Half against Troy and First Half against Troy.
With a special nod to the second half of the South Carolina game where Crowton went with Keiland and Scott in the backfield. That was a deadly combo. Why did we stop doing that???

He will stay at LSU but he doesn't have the athletic abilty that all the other potential qb's have. When the pocket collapes he seems to just fall apart.

the Dick brothers looked pretty good a few weeks ago...

It's easy to blame Lee because the results of his mistakes, and all quarterbacks, are more obvious than those of anyone else on a football field.
Anyone who "knows" that Jefferson would have won games where Lee didn't is fooling themselves. Jefferson took less than 100 snaps this season. There's not a large enough body of evidence to say he's better than Lee.
I think Jefferson should have gotten more playing time as soon as the coaches knew Hatch was done for the season, but that didn't happen.
I trust Miles' decision making, and he stuck with Lee. I choose to chalk this season up to inexperience, and I believe we'll see vast improvement in both Lee and Jefferson next season.

Then please never use the Troy game as an indication of JLee's abilities
LSU's offense coming back from behind in the 2nd half is not the same thing as LSU's defense getting raped in the 1st half. Troy's offense should have never done that...PERIOD!

But teams did eventually figure out how to stop the running game and it probably wouldnt have mattered who lined up at RB.

Why not put Keiland in at QB isn't his rating 100%?

This kid's got the MOXY. I don't care what a bunch of message board assholes say. This kid has the characteristics of a great leader, and i don't care if he ever starts for LSU again. I'm all for the coaches putting the right guy out there giving us the best chance for VICTORY!! Whoever that may be....
If this kid holds his head up walking to class, he's tougher than me. Throwing the pick-6's is sure aggravating, but I think he'll develop into a decent college QB. And the other armchair QB's on here don't know any better...

And LSU's offense should never have done that in the first half agasint Troy.

He wears his LSU track jacket with a big number "12" on the back of it everywhere he goes.
Must have balls then.

I disagree. I only followed it on the Crackberry, but it showed some talent.
Biglego, I doubt you've done anything in your life but eat and shite and be envious of others.

you conveniently forget that lsu did nothing on offense in the first half of that same game.

May be an uninformed question, has the starter been named officially for the bowl game?

Play calling has a lot to do with how games go!

oh thats right. bad play calling on the defense is the defense's fault. bad play calling on offense is everyon'e fault except lee's.
you really suck at this arguing stuff.

Keep it in perspective now...Lee actually won SEC games....Jefferson showed very little against OM and nothing in the second half of the Ark game against THE worst defense in the SEC. Ark was bad...very bad. I saw potential in Jefferson but keep this thing in perspective.
Yeah lets keep in perspective lets not forget that the Offensive line wasn't blocking worth a crap and JJ had to do it all by himself in the Arkansas game.

Playcalling...Where was Keiland in the 2nd half of the Arkansas game and Scott in the 2nd half of the Kentucky game...seems to me like somebody upstairs is overthinking himself.

Yes, because they didnt respect the pass at all. They saw Charles Scott was killing teams early in the year. They werent sold on Lee's passing ability so they zoned up on him and "waited and baited" him for the interceptions.
I felt like Williams and Scott in the backfield would have opened things up more because not only do you have two runners in the backfield but also a threat to catch it out of the backfield. And you werent sure who was going to get the ball.
Add to that the ever so present danger of play action and you've got potential big problems. I wish they would have kept doing that more often.
