I already said it on the O-line thread. They only allowed 15 sacks and we had 2000 yards rushing. That's not exactly bad.

Oh, from what i heard from a source on the team was that the D coord. were calling one play and the other was calling a separate. Also, Curtis Taylor and othe seniors decided to call their own plays as well. Finally, somehow the Secondary Coach was calling audible plays during the game also.

Biglego, I doubt you've done anything in your life but eat and shite and be envious of others.

You obviously missed the context of this statement. That, or you are just not very bright.

based off jeffersons first 2 performances, we might see Lee by the 2nd quarter of the bowl game.

This is hilarious. Lee has been at LSU an entire year longer to mature, practice, and learn the system, yet JJ comes in and basically outperforms Lee. He completes a few less passes, but he makes less mistakes at this point and brings another element to the QB position. Good for JL to want to stay. Knowing Les he'll probably play him because he obviously is his favorite.

I love the heart of JL

Heck yes, he plays on my team any day

never gives up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He was put in some bad situations IMHO

3rd and long calls, should have been run and punt

He has potential, great potential

Bottom line is, we don't know for sure if JJ can handle the job, he should start moving forward so we can see... JL has proven he can at time look very good and at other times, stratch your head.

Shep is in the mix, we shall see

+1

I dont think ANYONE on this board was in the mood to stick with JLee after the Bama game. Now all the sudden history is rewritten and Lee played great.

My comment was based more on your "total body of work," to use the term loosely.

JL

33% v Ole miss 2int
38% v Ala 4 picks 2 pick six
40% v. Mighty tulane at home dry feild and a pick six!

JJ is our starter and is SUPERIOR DEAL WITH IT!

JJ runs better has a stronger more acurate arm
and is an overall better ath. .

I was sticking with Lee after the Bama game. I'd start him against GT if it was my decision. I'd play Jefferson 30-40% of the snaps. And I'd blitz. In my opinion, we're going to win or lose with the players we have so I'd open up the playbook and call the game the way they called games last season.

Balls to the Wall!

By the way, I'm not here to criticize Jefferson, but since stats are being thrown out there.

JJ

17% v Troy
50% v Ole Miss 1 td 1 int
43% v Ark

I didn't think it was fair to include his 0% against UNT, he only threw one pass, in the last minute of the game.

No one I know who saw the Ark. game thinks JL should start. Who are you people? Rel. of JL?
Next year JJ and Shep. Split time.

Well, you don't know me. I did see the Arkansas game, and I'm not related to Lee. I look at the statistics, and in spite of the int's, Lee still has a better rating than Jefferson.

Jefferson at least moved the ball downfield

Not in the second half of the Ole Miss or Arky games.

Hey Gotygers why not list all of JLee's stats for every game so we can see the whole picture not just the one you are trying to paint. How bout * Miss. state, Auburn, South Carolina, Troy, the picture changes does it not?

The first time JJ got reps as a starter he clearly outplayed JL.. Jl looked down rec. JJ looked off safties.

I'll say I'm damn proud he's a Tiger, but I'm damn proud he's a tiger already and I'll be damn proud he's a tiger if he plays terrible. Point is you cannot honestly say one if WAY better than the other right now. Lee is a better passer while Jefferson is a better runner, and thats that. They will battle it out in the spring next season and the better QB will start.

Is this the same shining everyone said he was going to do in the Arkansas game? Again, defense blew that one at the end, but he was far from spectacular.

Like I've said, I'm not here to criticize Jefferson. I think he's a vital member of our team and will receive substantial playing time next season. But since other people want to throw out statistics to prove their point that Jefferson is better than Lee, I've had to put out statistics that prove, if nothing else, that the evidence is not available to support the claim that claim. He threw 6 balls in the Tulane game, granted that's not a lot, but he only completed 1. Show me a game where Lee had a 17% completion rate.

Lee has a higher passer rating, a statistic that should favor the quarterback with fewer attempts. It's simple numbers, and numbers don't lie.

You look off safeties on deep balls and I'm pretty sure Lee was much better throwing the deep ball than Jefferson this year.

Jarrett Lee looked much better in his first start than Jefferson did in his.

This is what we have to look forward too if Lee can cut out the mental mistakes. Notice him read the blitz at the 30 second mark and audible to the hot slant.
