IMHO JL gives the Tigers a better chance to win. I watched the 2008 Auburn game a couple of weeks ago and he had an awesome second half. On course I'm old school and like to have 2 QBs play unless you have some one like this guy around
LSU will need both and need to play both. I highly doubt JJ will get through the season unscathed.

In all fairness I think Just was going to an OT over 40s party when this pick was taken

You do realize how long ago that was, right? JaPurpleDrank Russell had a good game for the Raiders once too.
Actually, Lee looked pretty good for a few games early on there until the competition started picking up.

First QB to beat Auburn in Auburn in a long arse time. Plus he was a true freshman

Yeah, nice handoff to scott.
We won the Auburn game throwing the ball. Plus we play Auburn every year.

No doubt. And I agree it was a big win. Other than the Peach Bowl win, it was basically our only memorable win that year.
But Auburn also finished with their only two wins in the SEC that year and it was Tuberville's worst record with them ever. It was a hostile environment though and a great win at the time. I'll always give him credit for that win.
However, as I said earlier, we hadn't beaten Georgia in Athens in 20+ years until we did so last year with Jefferson.

Ah so that is a yes, well going to play on OT then
Posted on 7/27/10 at 6:16 pm to tduecen
The OT has been a scary place today. Best of luck
Posted on 7/27/10 at 6:17 pm to learnthehardway
OT is mild compared to years past, a scary day now would be a normal day previously
Posted on 7/27/10 at 6:23 pm to tduecen
They have been talking about screwing corpses and making dolls from afterbirth over there today..
Wait... I guess it is kinda mild

Did we not win the game? It's not JJ's fault that he went with the right (winning) play. Besides, he still threw for over 200+ in that one and ran for 20+.
All I know is that I remember Hallman, Dinardo and Saban all getting their azzes beat over there. It doesn't change the fact that we hadn't won over there in 20+ years. And now we have. And Georgia actually went on to win a bowl game, unlike Auburn who went on to get rid of Tuberville the year we won over there.

I think more people would say the QB was more important in the win vs Auburn than Georgia. Plus Auburn was a liitle more hostile enviroment IMO
Posted on 7/27/10 at 6:37 pm to Big EZ Tiger
JL was bigger factor in the W at AU than JJ was at UgA
