If you watched the second half of the SECCG you shouldn't be excited. Our receivers clearly perked up once Nuss entered the game.

I don’t know the poster, but if you are accusing him of racism over his opinion of a QB then you are wrong and sensitive.

Right or wrong all fans criticize quarterbacks and it has nothing to do with race. Plenty of us actually wanted Daniels over Brennan and now we prefer another QB.

It’s all part of being a fan. It can even be irrational, but that doesn’t mean it’s racially motivated.

It’s tiresome how people can think this way. I regret people feel this way.

I can’t wait for Colin Hurley to get here so we can start calling for him to start when he’s the backup.

If we're gonna nitpick single performances, how about I do southern?

I suppose that is the reason the Portal will be open after the Spring game.
Backup QBs and starting receivers will have an option to save their draft status/careers.

Glad he is coming back to COMPETE for the starting job.

If any LSU fan thinks JD will be just handed the job as starter by BK please tell us now.

Did he really need to write that much?

I don't know but I find it odd that his pic isn't one of him actually throwing the ball.

In a time where everyone quits on their team, it is refreshing to see your commitment to the team. You have many people here who question your passing ability, but no one can question your character. You know what you and the coaches have to work on. Go Tigers!

For those who say the criticism on Daniels on here is just about Football look at these last two posts. Literally criticizing his return announcement to the fans. Yikes this place has derangement syndrome

Don't really care.. at the very least, he slings the ball. Unlike JD who holds it after his one read is covered and then takes off running or takes the sack.

I just wish those who constantly hate on him would realize how talented he is. If he improves in reading defenses next year and is more aggressive he could be a first round pick. With his arm and athleticism he has always been a first round talent. He can make every throw needed at the next level, he just needs to sling it.

He’s very talented. I enjoyed watching him play as a Freshman.

It’s just been very frustrating at times. Very inconsistent. I hate this type of offense. He holds the ball too long at times. He also seemed to take a lot of sacks, because of it. I like to see receivers more involved. Big throws down the field and RBs be the leading rushers. There are a lot of talented players who if they improved could be great.

It would be awesome for him to prove the doubters wrong.

What results are you speaking of? An awful double digit loss to A&M in their worst season in the past decade?

How about a dead offense getting drummed by Georgia or Tennessee by 20+? Playing no turnovers allowed football isn't getting us another playoff run.

You literally pressure Nussmeier to his left and his chance of INTing is increased 50% minimum. Dude can't run and is feast or famine in his decision making.

What does JD do under pressure? Take the sack, hold onto the ball? Try to scramble back to the LoS?

He was 44th in passing yards and 68th in passing TDs. I realize running is a huge part of his game, but do studs rush for 10 yards against Arkansas? With under 100 yards passing and 0 TDs to 1 INT?

He has the talent to be a stud, but until he shows more consistency I don’t know that he is a stud.

They should have a fair shot, but they won't get one.

If you have made up your mind that there is no possible way Daniels could legitimately be our best QB, then you’ll never believe anyone has a “fair” shot unless Daniels loses.

So either Daniels starts and the message is “I told you it wasn’t fair,” or Daniels doesn’t start and the message is “I told you he wasn’t the best QB.”

Some of y’all are so confident in your opinions that anything short of 15 wins and a Heisman Trophy will not be enough. God help tRant if the QB battle looks close again in the spring.
