that guy has shown his true colors in the last couple of weeks in his interviews....something that ive known all along...he's all about himself...and i believe he is a cancer to the team...

the players cant talk about it but if they could without reprieve they would tell the truth....none of those guys like him...and he knows it deep down...thats why they will never play for him...look for total destruction come sat when he's in the game...

It has become clear to me that your hatred for this kid has roots elsewhere.

Question: without Lee, does LSU make that last drive to the endzone?

No, I've said as much in the thread. We need both.

JJ - 6 series, 3 turnovers

JL - 5 series, 1 turnover

/thread

I've already pointed out that JL should get the start or majority of the snaps due to JJ not taking care of the ball like he did playing in his first two years.

We both know that he wasn't responsible for Peterson's fumble.

Otherwise, with that kind of thinking:

Points scored with JJ as QB in the game - 14
Points scored with JL as QB in the game - 0

But see, I know that's showing things in a misleading way...

But even still, with JJ's turnovers, LSU's only 10 points with 00:00 remaining on the clock with one untimed play left were scored with JJ leading the offense.

JL definitely passed the ball better. NO DOUBT. Now we just have to make points after moving it and that will really make a difference.

Stats are for people who want to spin or lie....

Spin this: Without Lee we don't make that last drive to put us in a situation to win.

Without the center snapping the ball JJ would have watched the clock tick away...

Obviously the running game is more effective with JJ in the game. Perhaps that's why he is starting Saturday....

Maybe JJ can't throw...therefore they have to call more running plays...thus your premise.

All of Lee's bad plays were attributed to non-play!

Give Lee some reps and those kind of mistakes will go away.

Jefferson's inability to throw downfield makes LSU's offense too predictable.

Once defenses realize (with Lee) that they will have to defend the whole field, LSU's offense will open up--both running and passing!

Maybe a re-phrase is in order: Stats can be used by people to spin or prove their own point of view.....there!

Who knows, maybe a two qb system is the only way to get through this year....neither Lee nor JJ has set the world on fire...

well, that shows your intelligence....it was a comment....not an argument....

are you really that ignorant to defend Jefferson after his comments to the media, his teammates wanting lee to start, his coach saying he has a low tolerance for pain. Tbob saving the game by snapping the ball...jefferson throwing picks at his own 15 but says he played well he avgs 2 yards a carry and is considered a running qb?...please...hes spoiled, he actually thinks he's played better then lee...and he actually thinks he should be the starter even though he can barely throw for 100yds a game.....im assuming your answer is yes or that youll keep on defending him...

i have come to the conclusion that you are related to him

We are giving credit to JJ for the last touchdown? Really?

We were ranked last in offense the past couple years with JJ at QB. We just dropped under a hundred with JL at QB for 1/2 game. Let's use those stats.

Must be JJ's mom

Obviously stats don't mean squat...we finally see a partial turnaround in the passing game with JL and he's worried about who's handing the frickin ball off...

No...it was said because someone wanted to blame D. Peterson's fumble on JJ (because JJ was in the game at that time). So if that was the case, JJ must be responsible for the last TD since he was in the game then as well.

It was done to point out the ridiculous nature of that thought. Of course that last drive belonged to JL.

FACTS - we scored 2 td and jj led one drive and jl led one drive. the rest is bs. who cares who had the most yards or qb rating. you win with td and they each produced one.

JJ can't get a play off if the game is on the line. Watch the end of the game the real problem is JJ is not lined up behind the center, he is off to the side. That is why the ball got past him. A ten year old knows to spike the ball in that situation.

And after JL orchestrates the winning drive down the field, JJ comes in and we have ANOTHER CLOCK DISASTER not just a coincedence to me.
The clock disaster should be "nuff said" on who should be at QB in my opinion.
