He was past his time, it was a bad hire, waste of money and he didn’t develop our WRs.
So you didn't see any improvement between the first and last game of the season in the WRs?

Are y’all hating on him just because he is old?
No. Because the product of his efforts was sub-standard for an elite college football program.
Glad it happened in early January. WR's do 90% of their improving in the off-season. LSU needs a coach that inspires these young men to invest in their skill-set every day of the year (like the best pro WRs do!)

Like jug machines huh?

Well they used that TE coach in place of Sullivan on the road. So at least they didn’t lose a recruiter.
How much good does a Graduate Assistant that no one has ever heard of do on the trail?

Check out what the NFL pros do. Check out what Clemson does. Do that. if you don't think they're using Jugs (or a quality similar machine) then your out of touch with the game of football.

You are out of touch with reality if you think LSU doesn't know what NFL players are doing, and if you think they don't have the same stuff. But you kind of already showed that when you made a thread saying LSU needed to get jug machines.

If the rumors of tee to Tenn are true and Henry most likely being retained in Cleveland my money is on another old guy with hella experience... Baws old Terry Rob coming home???

I'm hearing Bum Phillips will be the replacement for Sullivan.

I wrote a thread saying they need at least 10 jug machines. Everyone wants to get on the jugs. punters, FG holders & kickers, punt returners, etc.
Jugs are the best ball-catching "coaches" on the planet. Amortized, they cost about $250 a year.
And, no. LSU DOES NOT have enough Jugs machines for 16 WRs to get daily reps efficiently. There's also TEs, and RBs who need daily reps. And CBs Ss, and LBs who need weekly catching reps.

Sullivan was one of the best WR technicians in football.
LSU’s receivers were lucky to have him on the practice fields this year.
I assume this is completely sarcastic, no?

How many jug machines does LSU have?

He has no fricking clue. Already got him to admit this in his stupid jug machines thread.
Of course this was after he made the Burrow is better than Haskins thread, and before the Lawrence was only good because of his WRs in the NC game thread.
Maybe he is Burrows family member or something, but he is extremely insecure when it comes to Burrow.

A shame he didn’t show up for his last year on the job.

Of course all WRs have drops, Captain Obvious. But the LSU WRs had WAY too many drops this season. Drive killers. And don't bring up that do-it-yourself "filmroom" site. That thing was debunked 2 seasons ago.
Why do you think Sullivan hit the road? Because his WR's under-performed. That's why.

My god you and those other crazies are as dumb as a rock. So everyone knows for a fact that the offensive woes this year were strictly because of their coaches?
And what people are saying is if that's the case then Aranda gets some blame also. Never mind that both sides had very unfortunate happenings occur in the offseason and during the season. The WRs learned a new offense and many of our good WRs were fresh out of HS and are still leaning lots of technical things and gaining strength in their bodies to handle the physical nature of the SEC.
On top of that all you idiots want another offense to come in so all you do is blame O for the offense at that point because we have a proven OC and he's done it everywhere else.
Which would likely not be 100% true because y'all don't look at specifics, only overall statistics like when y'all say Miles recruited great players here yet half of those players never played a down at LSU. Freakn morons. Y'all don't know shite and that's the only fact here.

Hey jerk!
1. You didn't "get me to admit" anything. I freely said I don't have an exact number. But I asked someone in the program who said, "not enough". Quit exaggerating sht.
2. Yes, I sad Burrow is a slightly better QB than Haskins*. Still say so. OSU had the most experienced WRs in the nation this season. Burrow would have KILLED with those WRs.
3. Yes. Clemson's WRs deserve MOST of the credit for the passing game at the Natty.
a) Lawrence was 20 for 32 - 62%
b) His WRs were making all-but-impossible catches
c) Take away 3 of those circus catches, and Lawrence was 17 for 32 - 53%
*Did Haskins have a much better stat line? Of course Haskins did. But, Haskins also had a better O-Line, passing co-OC's, and far, far better WR's.
