not true at all, and you know that.

the ones that get called out, get called out for a reason.

only problem with this statemnet is you cant give a reason, not the first.. YOU CANT DO IT, if you could you would have called it out along time ago.
When someone disagrees with you and all else fails, thats all you have left to do.

I figured as much. However, you can't be distinguished from those you call "cry babies" when you jump in the crib with them.

We had a number of things go wrong last year and everyone knows what they were. Even those that pretend that they don't. This should be a better year all around. I hope all the fans can chill out and enjoy it.

Be a LSU supporter (not a JJ or JL supporter).

Actually i'm not a leave Jarrett alone guy. So, don't try and put me in that catagory. I just think that these threads are retarded. Most people here are making an argument for one QB or another based on their race not the player. I'm not promoting JL over JJ or RS i want who ever will win the game. the guy who is playing the best ball. And yes Lee played terrible last year and yes he threw 2 pick 6's against UGA. However, that doesn't constitute naming JJ the second comming. JJ still lost to a bad ARK team. That wasn't his fault but blaming JL for the UGA loss alone is wrong as well. If the Defense played in that game LSU should have won it 38-14 maybe even 28 hell give them 2 offensive TD. The point is If the team plays as a whole we win. If the Whole team is better with JJ under center then let him start...but the idiots on here are calling for one kids head and setting another up for monumental failure. Let him play a few games next year before you start talking heisman or all american.

Maybe not this year but next year he'll be in the voting.

I said it first.
It's the offseason. It's the Rant. This is going to be a long summer.

There will be 5,347 more stupid threads before the season starts. I said it first.

Your parents should be proud.

Most posters on here have not called for JJ's head, but only argued that it was ridiculous to put him in the heisman race, especially after basing that off of one good (not great) performance in the Peach Bowl.

I am actually a big JJ fan (also a JL fan), but I'm not ready to put all of my hopes on his shoulders just yet.

I was simply responding to that idiot who brought up Young's USC game performance, which had nothing to do with Jefferson.

This "idiot" never said VY had anything to do with Jefferson, but merely stated that it is foolish to pretend that JJ's performance in the Peach was that type of performance. It seemed pretty clear, but I guess I'm the idiot, since you didn't get it.

Thast is a reasonable prediction. Had the original poster said this, the thread would have died immediately. Then again, where's the fun in that.

I hope he proves all the doubters wrong, for LSU's sake.

I don't know if it was your intention to come off the way you did...but you did. Your post came off as comparing 2 white QB's who played in a NC game to 2 black QB's who did not...which pretty much was not my argument at all. You might have been better served to maybe point out..

Heisman winners NC winning QB's
07 Tim Tebow (FLA) Flynn (LSU)
06 Troy Smith (OSU) Leake (FLA)
04 Matt Lienhart (USC) Same
03 Jason White (OU) Mauck (LSU)
02 Carson Palmer (USC) (OSU)
01 Eric Crouch (NEB) (Miami)
00 Chris Weinkie (FLA St) (OU)
96 Danny Wueffel (FLA) Same

Don't know who the QB's were in 02,01,00 don't care just know they didn't win the heisman when there team won the NC. Point being facts work better then off the wall comments.
