At least he's looked great for a whole game.

He at least didn't look bad. I don't think I would go so far as to say he looked great. The entire team played well against GT and took the preasure off of our young QB. Let's see how he looks when we need him to make some plays with the game on the line.

I'm not a fan of Lee starting, but we have at least seen him make great plays under stressful situations. Then again, we've seen him make bone-headed plays also.

Good to see we have some fans as dumb as Auburn's. Burns completed one pass in that game, and is a freaking midget with no arm compared to Jefferson anyway.

Since you seem very convinced of this opinion I will reserve comment or analysis until we see Jefferson play in a meaningful game that we actually win....K?

Dude, I watched the game, he was fine in the second half. We were up 35-0 at halftime time, are you really disappointed we didn't win 70-0? It's not his fault the TD to Lafell got called back by a holding penalty.

dude, i was at the game.... no im not disspointed.
It's also not JL's fault CM dropped td vs bama either.
YOu really miss my point, dude said he played great whole game and thats just not true.
You dont have to try to twist it.

I'm talking about the hype after a decent bowl game. But, keep thinking JJ for Heisman. You'll be the one on gameday starting threads saying "FIRE LES MILES!" or, "WHY IS JJ EVEN IN THE GAME?!"

I would say he's already done that. The bowl game was pretty meaningful.

Again. See Kodi Burns hype after the Clemson/Auburn '08 bowl game. I'm not saying it's going to happen, because LSU has better players all over the field than Auburn this year, but you at least have to be cautious about the whole situation.

Meh....sure as a reward to the players for a mediocre season I guess maybe a little in the minds of recruits....in the big scheme of things not so much

Not this shite again. This is worse than the idiots claiming Charles Scott to be in the heisman race last year after a couple games.

the thing about htis statement is hes very correct... only problem is there are many here that for some reason bleive JL Is the only young qb capeable of makeing "bonehead" plays....
As Promintown has said,,, let JJ frick up a time or two and the tards will out in full force, the JJ lovers refuse to believe its possible that he'll make a mistake, and the rest of us that t to be realsitci this situation hope that he can keep it to a minimal.

Its really not that hard,, some of you set yourself up for dissapointment beofore the first snap even happens I.E. .............. the title of this thread

The bowl game was pretty meaningful.

It had no impact on the SEC championship or the NC.

It's always good to win these minor bowl games, but pretty insignificant in the grand scheme of college football. JJ's first real meaningful game will be Oct 3 at Georgia.

Most of us have understandably high expectations for JJ after the GT game, but really this is just absurd, your only setting yourself up for failure

If you guys look at our schedule, JJ should have no problems before the Florida game, maybe Georgia, don't know. When the Florida defense is on the field, who I think return all of their starters on defense, let's see how JJ responds to that. I have a feeling, whether most of you agree or not, that we are going to need Lee to play in the Florida game if we want to win. Believe me, I want JJ to have an awesome year, but like said before, we only have 2 games to judge him on so far, so let's just be patient and take it one game at a time...

God you suck.

Well sorry, I already saw it happen last year and Lee was a sitting duck back there. Stafford is another great example, he is a slow mover with a great arm and Florida ate him alive too. Snead who is atleast a little more mobile(but Florida wasnt really playing to potential and couldve done the same to him) was able to buy some time.
