I guess that makes him a terrible QB.

No im saying even with someone as good as Stafford who is the same general style QB as Lee(just miles ahead), FLorida was still able to compelte and utterly shut down.

Well sorry, I already saw it happen last year and Lee was a sitting duck back there. Stafford is another great example, he is a slow mover with a great arm and Florida ate him alive too. Snead who is atleast a little more mobile(but Florida wasnt really playing to potential and couldve done the same to him) was able to buy some time.

What happens when an offense is able to run the football effectivley?

He at least didn't look bad. I don't think I would go so far as to say he looked great. The entire team played well against GT and took the preasure off of our young QB. Let's see how he looks when we need him to make some plays with the game on the line.

More like Jefferson took the pressure off the rest of the underachieving team. It amazes me that the LSU fanbase was either too drunk or stupid to give the kid credit for how well he played.

Since you seem very convinced of this opinion I will reserve comment or analysis until we see Jefferson play in a meaningful game that we actually win....K?

You're right, a bowl game in the other team's home city isn't meaningful.

Who's not giving him credit? We're just talking about the hype machine that you guys have ridden way too far already.

let LSU go back this year to the mighty peach bowl.. you get a better idea of how meaningful it really is.

I'm talking about the hype after a decent bowl game. But, keep thinking JJ for Heisman. You'll be the one on gameday starting threads saying "FIRE LES MILES!" or, "WHY IS JJ EVEN IN THE GAME?!"

No, I'm the one smart enough to know that 6'4" QBs with bazooka arms who are athletic, poised, and know what they're doing, are rare. In fact, there's not one in high school this year. You're the one still having nightmares about Jarrett Lee or some no-talent like Kodi Burns and not smart enough to see a potential star when he's staring you in the face.

Uhh at the end of the second half JJ had racked up 38 points and won us the game. That is the only stat that matter.

Again. See Kodi Burns hype after the Clemson/Auburn '08 bowl game. I'm not saying it's going to happen, because LSU has better players all over the field than Auburn this year, but you at least have to be cautious about the whole situation.

No, it's not going to happen bc Jefferson is much more talented than Burns. Has nothing to do with the players around them.

Who gives a shite? Team was up 35-0 at halftime, I'm not the one who brought up that dumb argument. Watch the replay and you'll see that Jefferson made some great throws in the second half as well.

I thought you said we had 35 at the half?

It's cool you dont have to answer, the point has been made and you know it.

you have made no point and obviously i was refering to the whole game but your were not smart enough the realize that. I will try to be more specific in later posts to you . I mean the only thing that matters is that we have more point on the score board at the end of 60 minutes than the other team, why is it so important that not all but 3 of them of them came in the first 30?
