I know I'm right....it doesn't matter where the damn game was played it could have been on the fricking moon.....bottom line pressure and stress level were very low due to the fact that the game in all actuality meant very little.
I know 3 people that refuse to beleive or even consider this... they post alot lately in this thread.

Lee IS slow.
yeah, but I don't think he's too slow. he's not a scrambler, but he can buy some time to make throws (see the rollout passes to TT vs. Bama and the TD pass to Cmitch at UF)

What go 1-1.5 in 2.5 games played??? How the frick do you know Vince couldn't have done this?????
Did you watch Young when he was a redshirt freshman????
Forget what Jefferson did against Ole Miss or even Arkansas. He had exactly 0 reps as a starter going into the Ole Myth game. That's only for morons to judge him on.
But if you judge him fairly on what he did after he actually got some practice time, then no, Young could not have done that as a true freshman.

vince young was TERRIBLE as a true frosh.

You're right, no stress for an 18 year old playing in front of 70K on National TV against a team riding high after beating their rival, in that team's city. No pressure when your future as LSU's QB can largely be locked up for the offseason based on how you play.
Are you that stupid?

i have no idea what VY did as a fresh, I'd believe its safe to say 99% of LSU fans dont either... regardless if he wasn't being sarcasitc (which I donthink he was) things turned around pretty good for ole vince and his understudy Colt.
Amazing how it worked out for those guys, but in JL's case, unthinkabale.

He did not much like Lee...
RS Fresh Yr for Vince Young was not bad he was hardly ever asked to throw as whenever they needed to throw in '03 Mock came in....didn't play until halfway through the season....and rushed for a 1000 yds and had 11 rushing TD's....when he did throw was around 60% completions with 6 TD's in the air

this is the part that always gets me when ppl say the game was meaningless. "no pressure, I just may not see the field again if I don't play well."
