I'm sayin the kid is talented and he will prove it next year with increased experience.
IF that was all you said, it would be okay
but things like
quote:
JJ does just about every thing Pryor does, if you can' see that then your the idiot.
if you believe after a game and a half you can make an accurate rational assessment of JJ and his future potential you are bat shite mutha frickin CRAZY!!!!
quote:
i recognize a potentially dangerous player when I see one
um, no you don't. if your scouting skills were that polished, you would be doing it for a living. not even mike kiper can get a read on someone after only seens 7 quarters of college ball
quote:
i recognize a potentially dangerous player when I see one
um, again, no you don't
quote:
if JJ would have won some of those games Lee blew, I lot of you idiots would be singing a dif tune
JJ didn't win the games he started and played in himself against arkansas and Ole Miss, now we are supposed to believe he was going to beat bama, UGA and UF?
quote:
what do you expect a firstime player to come in and do against a solid Ole Miss D, even a 5 year starter like Flynn would have been hardpressed
what did Lee do against Auburn again?
oh, i forgot...you still think ole miss defense > auburns defense
quote:
what big games did Lee win this year?
what game did JJ win this year?

STFU, and let the thread die dumbass, your clueless, were talking about 2 dif things
and you keep harping on the SC stat shite, newsflash, he was in against SC reserves, they were already up big, the D is not playin as hard as it was in the beginning and it is college football, combine all that and you have your answer, a-hole.
I can see why you would want the thread to die. You start a thread off comparing a guy to one of the top Freshman QB's to come out in awhile, then call other people assholes when they point out your flaws.
Yeah, I'd want the thread to die off too. Jackass.

dude, if you can't see that the kid can run just as good as Pryor, and is fast on top of it, and has a strong arm, also. I'm not the one who's dumb, I'm actually surprised at you, but like I said I'm through debating.
Posted on 12/19/08 at 2:09 pm to CanShakersDecayedNut
no, I want the thread to die because I'm tired debating with idiots like you.

for the record, it's not much of an argument. There is little in common, at this point, between Pryor and Jefferson outside of running ability.
But by all means, keep replying calling OTHERS itiots. That's entertaining for most involved.

right now is too soon to tell if he is better than marcus randall, much less pryor
quote:
I'm actually surprised at you
i am not saying that he can't be as good as pryor, or that Lee is better or anything of the sort
what am saying is he has played less than 2 games, and in those 2 games LSU is 0-2, and his stats were not overly impressive and definitely showed flaws
sitting back in December and saying 1 horse is going to win this race without question is foolish
after an entire fall and through a couple games this season the coaching staff had intentions of using JJ this year, then changed their minds (after months of practicing) b/c they obviously felt he wasn't ready
the fact that anyone thinks their assessment is somehow more accurate than the coaching staff who worked with the kid for months after you have only seen him in a game and a half is just nuts

never said I was better than the coaching staff, why do people keep misquoting me, but if you think the kid didn't display more talent in that one game than Lee, your nuts, the coaching staff was surprised by his calmness and talent, and I damn sure Miles wish he had went to him sooner, as matter of fact I remember sayin something like that.
he was only held back because of his true froshness.

that is exactly what you are saying
you are saying your assessment is so definitive that if anyone disagrees with you they are idiots. well, the coaching stff disagrees with you
quote:
if you think the kid didn't display more talent in that one game than Lee, your nuts
see, you did it again
quote:
the coaching staff was surprised by his calmness and talent
is that why they wanted to redshirt him
had hatch stayed helathy, JJ wouldn't have even played this year after the MSU game
Lee had a better freshman season that Mathew Stafford and saying JJ is definitvely better than Lee is way to premature, and saying he is better than Pryor is really just beyond consideration.

just because you say it doesn't make it true
i can kick you in the nuts, but if i say i didn't kick you in the nuts over and over, it doesn't mean i didn't kick you in the nuts

bullshite
why wasn't patrick peterson held back?
what about barksdale, what about ciron black? why weren't they held back?

I agree. He is a southern version of pryor. People here will never admit it though. He was way underrated coming out of hs.

ONCE AGAIN, I DID NOT SAY HE IS BETTER THAN PRYOR, I SAID AS GOOD AS, AND YES HE IS BETTER THAN LEE BASED UPON HIM PLAYIN HIS TRUE FROSH YEAR AND WITH LIMITED KNOWLEDGE OF THE OFFENSE.
LEE KNOWS THE OFFENSE, HAS BEEN THERE 2 YEARS AND MADE A HELLUVA LOT OF MISTAKES, THIS KID PLAYS 1 GAME AND KNOWS HOW TO NOT MAK MISTAKES AND LOSE A GAME, LSU'S TERRIBLE D LOST THOSE GAMES.
THANKYOU, GOODEVENING.
AND WERE TALKING ABOUT QB, THE MOST IMP POSITION, NOT frickING CB OR O-LINE. AND I WASN'T THE ONE THAT frickIN STARTED CALLIN PEOPLE IDIOTS IN THE FIRST frickIN PLACE. GET YOUT FACTS STRAIGHT.

saying either is too premature
since you are about to blow your wad after JJ going 0-2 in his first game and a half and completing less than 50% of his passes, i can only wonder what you considering doing for Lee after he went 2-0 in his first game and a half with a compeback win on the road at a top 10 opponant and a home win vs Miss St
fact is, you had no clue what to expect from Lee after Miss St and you have no clue what to expect from JJ now. There hasn't been enough time and evidence, BUT if you keep yelling can calling people nuts, maybe, MAYBE you just might convince some people.

before this year Miles was never in a situation to play a true freshman qb or where it made any sense at all. this year, his first year being presented with this oportunity he plays a true freshman, and now somehow he has been tabbed as not liking to play true freshman qb's?

they look absolutley comparible to me. size, and speed running the ball. Actually you could argue that jefferson might be better. He definitly has superior passing skills.
jeferson > pryor.
jeferson > pryor.

okay back to normal caps
IDK, I guess you gotta talk retarded for people to understand, fact is they can't see this kid will be good with experience, pitiful.
