you dumb fricks that sit there and say he didn't improve have some blind agenda. guess what? teams rarely stacked the box against us. go look at the games again. buy the second quarter teams were running conventional 7 man fronts. also jj threw more tds and took less sacks in the second half of the season. Jefferson improved but not as much as some would have liked. As an opposing fan I could notice some of same tendencies that he seemed to never adjust against.
He is still relatively young as many have pointed out and still has a upside just not as high as some would like him too. He will more than likely end up being remembered as a good QB who when you look at his numbers was better than expected.
Also Cajun LSU Man, you seem angry that not as many people agree with you and feel the need to insult those who do not. You do realize this is just a message board correct? No need for you to take it so serious.

I can't wait to get yelled at all these threads are pointless about his progressions. Thing is over the course of the season we finished 112 in total offense. He was the qb of the 112th offense. I'm sorry all other stats you tell me about comp % and yards and tds are pointless.

He improved from the beginning of the year, he regressed from two years ago.

Schrubber, you generally seem to post in a level headed way but you seem to be contradictory on this one. He has improved despite the admitted shortcomings of our offense. I remember the same ranting about JR,MM,MF,RP,etc. They all looked terrible some longer than others. Remember what they said about Colt McCoy. Review his tape at 19 years old. The coaches are assessing other areas of the Off. when passing judgment on his progress. It is directly related. Set back relax and watch JJ come in to his own next year. All SEC next year!

Not knocking JJ. I am extremely worried about his upside without a true QB coach. He has all the ability in the world, but will limit out without some help.
JJ grew progressively more afraid to throw in traffic as the year progressed, which limits the offense.

LSU fans answer me this, why does Jefferson get a pass for being an SEC QB at 19 and last year Lee was vilified by your fan base for being a 19 year old in SEC.
One guy it was all his fault the other gets all the excuses? Is this because Lee's interceptions cost LSU games, or because LSU fans know Jefferson is next years starter and really praying he improves that much from year to year?

i gave you stats earlier in the thread of how he improved. his qb pass eff improved the second half of the season. also his completion % of passes over 20 yards was better in the second half. also how the frick am i blind. i'm the one defending our starting qb. he did get better. also.i noticed another few posts up were some dumb arse said how great flynn was. they had the same stats you dumb frick. one had a great line and running game, one didn't. jj was ranked 38th in passing eff. also matt flynn blew dick in about 4 games. in that kentucky loss he threw for 135 yards and less than 50%. frick it. i'll let everybody laugh at you dumb fricks that think jj was to blame.i give up. i gave you stats to how he improved and all you've done is say " give me stats" then when i say he had the same stats as flynn, you all say" don't even compare jj to flynn". frickin idiots

Glad you weren't counting votes in Massachusetts. Long windup, inaccurate and really bad pocket presence cannot all be overcome by coaching (which I WILL agree seems to be non-existent)
