You can match your prediction against mine if you'd like, but so far, I'd say my track record at predicting the QB situation is pretty damn good.

Don't be surprised to see this attention whore digging up this old thread in 2012 when JJ is named the starter.

It's resort.

And it's warranted in this situation. People trying to pass shite off as facts when they have no idea what they're talking about is idiotic.

This whole scenario sets up very nicely to win back-to-back championships with 5th-yr senior QB's.

Pistol - I love your enthusiasm. However, the reality is JJ is coming back by October or not at all. Unless there is some complete reversal of LE and DA position and say it's all a mistake - best case: the JJs plead down to misdemeanors with no jail time. I still think they're dismissed from the team based on injuries inflicted.

I think JJ has finally shown who he really is, you could see it in the way he acted on the field last year that it would only be a matter of time before he did something stupid. I feel that the team will do much better without him with Lee or Mett as the QB

I called this scenario in October of last year. Hooray me!

Nothing has changed. You're still wrong.

Prolly the best thing that could happen to JJ at this point is to remain suspended (to maintain his scholarship) and focus on his education the next two semesters.

true, it is.

and, for the record, I said this

quote:

I seriously doubt the NCAA will let a player take a red-shirt because he was arrested and charged with a felony.

Nowhere did I say that it's fact. I said that I doubt it, not that the NCAA will never, ever, ever allow it.

Can't you just let me bask in the glory of the only thing I've ever halfway prognosticated correctly in my entire life?

There has been no talk whatsoever from the coaches about JJ redshirting

You haven't prognosticated a thing

Wouldn't this mean that Mett would only really have 1 to play 1?

The NCAA doesn't just give out hardship redshirts. They grant requests and decide if the situation warrants it. It's not an automatic thing, LSU has to request one from the NCAA.

Got it idiot?

N'ah. As far as we know, this is JJ's first and only transgression. Miles would be crazy not to give him a 2nd chance, especially considering Mett's past.

In a sense of fairness, Les can't let the gropeist lead the team and give JJ the boot.

1. He could suck and JJ could beats him out
2. He could be awesome and go pro, leaving Rivers or JJ.
3. Mett could kick somebody in the head at Shady's and get booted off the team.

There is no awarding of redshirts. You get 5 years to play 4. As long as academic eligibility is maintained, you can be on death row and still get a redshirt.

Did not know that, then he very well may get one.

I think he gets RP's locker at Jacksonville State

It's not a hardship redshirt, idiot. It's a normal redshirt. JJ has not used his redshirt yet.

You don't have a clue what you're talking about. You can throw around "idiot" all you want. You still don't know what you're talking about.

Kyle Anderson had other transgressions? He broke a jaw and was gone (probably the right call).
