How did you like the statement "I have won" this many games as a qb at lsu...not "we" or "lsu" or anything like that...."HE" has won the games. What also scares me is that he says he "will do anything to get that job back"...... makes you wonder.....boycott....division....tonya harding?

Kind of reminds me of another guy who loves to take credit for things that go well, but never takes blame for his faults. " I killed Osama, but I am not responsible for the economy". Rings a bell?

there was no miscontruing.....he said "I"...not we....point blank. It is the same JJ that said 'I" played pretty good after the Tenn game last year.

The correct statement would have been "i will do anything to support this team in any way I can in order to win, and if my number is called, I will be ready to go."

JJ says "I will do anything to get the starting job back". No acknowledgement of the job lee has done...just point blank, I am entitled.

One other thing, he says "I can't imagine anyone going though anything worse that I've gone through".....REALLY?

When JJ sucked all last year...you didn't hear Lee saying things like that, even after bailing out JJ.

You need to relax. As I said, I only saw what ESPN played a bit ago. It appears they are intent on creating controversy, and making Jefferson look bad. Instead of being a little bitch, maybe a link to the full interview would clear up the waters that ESPN muddied.

has JJ said anything supporting the Tigers starting QB?

“I’ve been supporting Jarrett throughout the whole year,” Jefferson said. “He’s done a great job on the field. He’s led the troops to victory. That’s what we’re trained to do, and he’s been doing a great job at that.”

Q: Describe your relations with Jarrett Lee?
A: “Our relationship always has been good. I’ve been supporting Jarrett throughout the whole year. He’s done a great job on the field, led the troops to victory and that’s what we’re trained to do and he has been doing a great job of that.”

What did he say that was wrong?

Nothing wrong with saying he wants to start.

However, JJ takes it too far. "I" won all these games as a starter and leader. "I" will do anything to get that job back". Not, I'll do anything to help the team, and if they need me I'll be there.....no he goes to "ME, ME, ME"....

Have you seen the Bleacher Report?

Bleacher Report

Page 3:

Jordan Jefferson is one of the better duel threats in the SEC, and his ability to buy time when the pocket collapses gives him the best chance for his Tigers to go all the way.

Jefferson did not get a chance to throw any passes against Kentucky, but he did run the rock four times for 29 yards and a touchdown in his season debut.

Threading the needle may not be his specialty, but solid arm strength and decent accuracy will allow Mr. Jefferson to see the majority of snaps sooner than later. Is Jarrett Lee really the answer?

He has finally avoided turning the ball over, but I doubt his talent will come through in games against Florida, Alabama and Arkansas. Jefferson is the guy that lets this offense do any and everything.

Matt had a clip, not a tweet, of JJ's comments after practice yesterday and JJ said his "goal" was to start, but at this time he will do anything needed/asked of him to "help" the "team".

Kinda different slant than the tweet BS put out yesterday.
