I would think even Peyton Manning would have suffered as a RS freshman! Lee was thrown to the wolves with not much experience. Not sure how ppl can give up that easy on a talented kid like him.

He may very well be. He might wind up being a 4-year starter. But it's not his birthright just because his dad didn't pull out 1 year before Jefferson's dad. Jefferson should get every opportunity to win the job. Let the best man win, not just the older one.

I just don't see how anyone can say this right now.

He will...but just because he rides the bench, it is not necessary that he is the best one. According to the rantards, this have been the case for so many years now.

Ummm.....he has had that opportunity. It's called practice and coaches evaluations. He's not the best...unless you're saying that your evaluation is better than Crowton and Miles...surely that's not what you're saying is it?

I strongly believe that we must come out on the 1st series and throw deep on all 3 downs to throw off Alabama's defense.

I wholeheartedly disagree. What we need to do is run a quadruple revers option-pass fumblerooski.

There won't be a second play because it'll be a touchdown every play.

J/K. Seriously, what we need to do is put Keiland in at QB. He has the highest passer rating on the team. It's like 614 or something.

Ok. If you are speaking of future opportunity then, still there should be no question. Miles and Crowton put the guys out there who give us the best opportunity to succeed. He isn't the best now, if he is in the future, he will be given that opportunity.

Les is sandbagging JJ so that we will lose all of the rest of our games and get the #1 pick in the draft next year.

Lets see... Hatch was the starter right? I don't know what the coaches saw in him...
some are good at practise and some on the field... you dont really know unless you give JJ playint time..

but I'm also not a blind idiot. Jarret Lee is not the future.

Show me the freshman stats of a QB that has played better in a the SEC or Big 12. He is playing the HARDEST position on the field as an 18 year old kid in a league which produces more NFL talent than any other league. Give the kid a chance to mature and become a leader. It is a process that takes time.
