He'll have a few kinks to work out this year. He's gonna be a beast his Junior and Senior year.

Did I say anything about any other QBs other than clearing up what moustache was saying (or at least what i THOUGHT he was saying)?

OH shite YOU GOT ME! The only qualm I had with Flynn all year was in the Arkansas game and even THEN that was more on the coaches for leaving him in when he was getting treatment on his shoulder after EVERY drive.

I meant the same type of people. I have no idea what YOU where saying, but it doesn't sound like it would be different.

exactly. which is ALLLLL I'm saying. The last thing I want is another QB ordeal.

I think JJ has a very high ceiling and like I said early, I think he has shown quite a few positives. All I'm doing is pointing out what I think he needs to work on.

Only knock on JJ, that I have seen, is his accuracy on long passes. Other then that, I think he runs a good O. Doesn't make many bad decisions, takes care of the ball, doesn't stare down receivers, etc...

I have always said, I'd rather have a good QB that won't win a game for you, but also won't lose one, over a QB that will lose a game for you by forcing something.

I got pissed at Flynn for a few boneheaded plays but shite happens. I certainly never wanted him benched and I sure as hell wasn't wanting him in over JR.

Which is what I think is his biggest problem because it has allowed teams to stack the box on us and REALLY handicap our running game.

I feel the same way man

Thanks for clearing that up. JJ is young, a work in progress with what seems to be good potential. It just seems ridiculous that after two games, in less than ideal circumstances, some ranters aren't willing to let him develop and have expectations of near perfection of one of the youngest starting QBs in the conference.

I think he played as well as Barkley and Forcier today (maybe not Forcier).

I'm all for giving him time. Like I said though, I worry that the lack of that intermediate to long passing game will hurt us. I think he can DO it but at the same time it is definitely his weakness right now.

Forcier played a HELL of a game. I wanted him before Shepard and Chris G committed.

Yup but you can say a ton of that had to do with our defense. Our D SHOULD be improving so instead of this putting along stuff why not run more of an open offense? By open I mean going downfield more and abandon this lateral shite...not going 5 wide and running a LaFell option.

Why do people think we were losing games?
We were 4-4 with Lee
We were 1-1 with Jefferson
We were 3-0 with Hatch

None of QB's had a losing record

I think Lee really LOST us 2 games. We were in the Alabama game the whole time and we lost to UGA by 2 TDs...oddly enough he threw 2 P6 in that game.

Do you realize how demoralizing one int. is a game. Now how about 3 and 2 for pick 6's. Players will get frustrated and just when you think you have a chance BOOM another pick kills all momentum. It happen 16 times with the guy you want to start over JJ. I say let's develop this kid and see if winning tight hard fought games is better than playing catch-up from self inflicted wounds.

I know I am about to be labeled a "Lee-Tard" but people bash on him too often. Yes we lost to UGA by 14 and he threw 2 pick 6. Yet defense was taken to the woodshed all game yet the issue was Lee. I just do not understand that rationale honestly.
Bama he threw 4 INT but Bama committed 3 turn overs themselves. Bama was just able to turn 3 of the 4 into 17 points while LSU could only get 14 off the 2. Yet again a fault of Lee doesn't matter that there were other issues in the game it was all Lee.

I guess 11 people on field the QB takes brunt of blame but shite he had his worst games against the 3 best teams we saw. Maybe those teams should get a little credit for making a freshmen look like a freshmen.
