I obviously don't know any better than anybody else on this board, but history is on my side. True frosh QBs are uncommon in SEC unless there are major injuries. Add to that the fact that he's up against guys with 1 year in the system and they will get very valuable game time experience while JJ does limited time and he has a HUGE uphill battle. Look at it this way: neither JR (#1 draft pick) nor RP started as freshmen. Another way to look at it: if JJ starts, that means either bad injuries or Hatch and Lee are just terrible and have lost a few games. Would you rather that scenario?

there is no indication he will get limited time. les said he play in critical game situations. i took that as aurburn/fla etc..

no i do not want any of our players getting hurt. nobody does. but i do think its a possibility that JJ starts because he flat out beats the other two out/plays better and wins the starting job.

im not saying this is going to happen to happen or even that i want it to. but it is definitely a possibility.

Why do you people continue to post crap from mainstream sites. 99.9% of the people on here read it 2 hours before you did.

The realm of possibility is a large one.

I wouldn't say that it's completely out of the realm of possibility... especially if it's late in the season and QB play has cost us games. There are just too many factors at this point (especially considering we're in the second week of practice ) for people to be annointing him as the 2008 starter. This entire debate has snowballed, and most people probably have no handle on the fact that Jordan's mechanics are in no way shape or form ready for top SEC competition. The kid will be a very good QB for LSU in the future... but he's not there yet.
