That’s not surprising at all with how the sport has change but also LSU’s history.
Don't ruin their narrative. They either know nothing about the history of the sport or refuse to consider any option that would require logical conclusions.

And now we kind of know more about why his production was off. Something’s not right because I know he had it his freshman year.
That's what's NOT RIGHT.
That's FACT, not OPINION.

Ball dropping Prima Donna. I’m glad he’s gone. Maybe he will grow up and make it as a pro. Hope he does, but that’s 8 less dropped passes next season.

Don't be too sure. We still have the same QB. He is the guy we hope improves. If he gets the ball out on time and on target, I expect it will be caught. If he continues to throw it behind and late, it will look the same as Arkansas and A&M games.

and his bench numbers were weak sauce, didn't report - from a person who saw the bench.
Combo of bad year, bad qb for his spot in the route tree (longer than 10-12 yard box for #5 JD on most schemes
), and apparently, not putting in work for the one day in your life where the numbers matter. The bench tells and the 4.5 tells.

Before I pile onto Boutte, I wish we could see his medicals from the combine. If he still has issues with his ankle its an easy explanation, but if his ankle checks out then there is more smoke to the "lazy" comments.

When Stetson Bennett beats you at the 10yd split, 20 yd shuttle and the vertical, you know you got a problem.

This is 100% true.

That’s dumb. Jarvis got open all the time & he ran a 4.8
In fact, Boutte actually had better combine numbers than Jarvis Landry across the board… that being said, he’s not as good as Juice

He without a question lost his burst last year. I think the injury did more to him. I know most on here are going to rip him for his play last year and lack of caring but forget he was one of the few players the previous season that gave every play 100%. He got hurt in a blowout where he was the only person on the field who looked like they gave a shite.

es he did. To a lesser degree, he was also the victim of a tough situation. The program was in a shambles and we brought in a new coach with on offense that featured a run centric QB. In hindsight, it worked better than all expectations team wise, but Boutte's production was a casualty.
The moment Kayshon left the team, the program was no longer an excuse for his future combine performance. He and his team are responsible for his conditioning, and his combine results is 100% his own.

A vertical below 30” on a WR under 6 foot?
Any nextgen stats on who in the NFL might be a comparison for those numbers? Seems like not good…
I knew linemen in college who were only 3-4 inches less than his vert, and were carrying 100+ pounds than he is

Well, yes. Juice will catch ANYTHING and works his arse off on the little things that make a difference. KB seems to, on the surface, only rely on athleticism and has a bad attitude when things don't go his way. I'd love to see the guy figure it out since he has shown in the past that when he gives his all, he is really good. Also, he is not 100% healthy and made a bad choice to leave (again, his fault for bad decisions).
You know what the 4.5 and 4.67 tell me? He got a decent time and shut it down, showing his lack of focus and preparation.
Lastly, fans are extra hard on him due to the whole threatening to leave thing. He needs to get better people around him.
