Max, I think he just admitted he was wrong. He's also really sorry for the confusion.

or are you going to claim that we had a harder road in 2007?
No the road games set up better.

was saban our coach in 2006?
Did a light bulb go on finally?

how many years has saban coached with the 12-game regular season schedule?
I don't know, how many? Doesn't matter, my point is he could have gone 10-2 every year but couldn't manage it more that 2 times in a Dozen years.

I would say the schedules weren't much different. Va Tech was certainly a lot tougher than Arizona the year before, Kentucky was much better than the year before. Auburn and FL are going to be tough games to win regardless of location.
Actually back when the BCS still used SOS there was a line of thought that playing your tougher games on the road was a statistically slightly easier schedule. The thought being, for example, that an Auburn or Florida is going to be a tough game to win whether on the road or at home, but a Kentucky or Ole Miss will be a bigger challenge at their place. In other words the differences in degree of difficulty will add up faster with Aub, FL at home and KY, Ole Miss on the road, than the other way around.

let me just say this, some of yuu may disagree, but Hester is, was the better all-around Rb, IMO, as far running, blocking, pass catching, I don't ever recall Williams picking up th blitz or Scott blocking and pass catching to much.

look, 2006 is only the 2nd team in NCAA history to play 4 top 10 teams on the road. The schedule sucked, and we still made a bcs bowl with it
That's fine. But in 2007 we played VT & the other SEC schools, won the SEC & National Championship.

Arizona and Fresno were better than any OOC opponents last year besides VT.
