Ladanian Tomlinson is not vocal in the locker room and isn't really a leader, so he should watch his back

All that Les has proven is that if you gain more than 10 yards and score a TD, you won't play the rest of the game because he'd rather give the ball to a FB who will get 3 yards running into people.

I thought Les proved he could win a National Champiosnhip & is capable of winning 11+ games in 3 consecutive seasons, which has never been done before in over 100 years of LSU Football.

Good to see you are on the bottom of things slackjaw

when were they ever praised for their leadership?

I don't follow the hogs so I'm not sure...what was their work ethic? how well did the understand the playbook?, etc.

you may be right though, I would rather a coach give carries to leaders and win some championships, vs. just giving them to uber-talented guys who otherwise really don't carry the load in the weight room, practice field, etc., and win the West every 10 years or so.

the question is if we could have 2 national titles and 3 straight years of 12+ wins

There's always room for improvement.

so Arkansas would have been better if Hillis was their feature back?

No, you asked why Hillis did not get more carries. The answer is in the brain of the Ole Miss coach. Yes, Ole Miss coach.

unless you're dealing with an absolute cancer, the best player should get the majority of snaps

be careful what you say about him

he beat les at home last year and almost won in 2006 without close to the same talent levels across the board

Not "On the Rant" - on the Field. The Rant is for tag team "Thunderdome" pissing matches & coach hating. It didn't use to be that way, pity it changed..

Houston Dale has a 33.3% chance of beating a Miles coached team. Almost means nothing.

I would guess that most every championship level coach in college disagrees with you...guys like Saban constantly talk about the focus, commitment and consistency it takes to be successful. And it doesn't have to get near the "cancer" level to knock just enough out of a team to keep it below what it needs to be to win championships...

The leadership that Miles is referring to revolves around this, not just around vocal, motivational type guys.

Hester actually wasn't better at the little things though. Remember Charles Scott is and was the better pass blocker of the two.

he's recruited and played his fair share of bad guys

miles bent over backwards to keep RP on the team. it took multiple failed drug tests, not going to class, multiple situations that gave our program black eyes, and a few arrests thrown in there to get him kicked off. that's alal
