Nice dream, but we have not had any sucess yet running. I don't think Hitt, Hebert and Dw gained
25 lbs each this week. McCoy and Jones would have helped this year. There is no quick fix for this problem.

turnover margin.
LSU fifth in the nation, UGA 115th.
If LSU doesn't make many mistakes and can establish some rudimentary ground game like you stated, we may just pull off this 'upset' -- the Tigers are a three point dog so if LSU wins is it an upset or was it expected? Hmm.
Seems like to me, whenever people are dogging the Tigers or underestimating them, they show up and dominate people.
When everyone is kissing their arse and saying how great they are, they lay an egg.
After seeing that fukstik herbstriet laughing at LSU and all the websites saying LSU is soft and over rated etc, I think LSU comes out with something to prove, unlike the previous 4 games.
I hope they stick with the historical trend of blowing people up when the press announces their inferiority and their upcoming demise.

What running game?
What deep passing game?
If you really don't seem to have either one which one should we start out with to set the other one up?

First and foremost we have to establish a running game!
WTF? No you don't. If your QB doesn't have 40 pass attempts or more in this game, fire your OC. Our pass defense sucks arse. Did you see the Arky or SC games?

I really want to see if Crowton's approach is more aggressive against an upper tier SEC defense.
We're the 11th rated Defense in the SEC!

Our offensive isn't consistent enough to get in a shootout.
UGA's defense still has better athletes on defense than the 4 teams LSU has played so far

Yes they would have.

you got that backwards...because they are going to start off stacking the box...and the only way to establish the run game will be first to establish the passing game
+1
I think LSU ought to just come out firing and running plays should be to the outside. No point in wasting downs with 2 yard dives in the middle. Scrap the power running game altogether.

You guys should be thinking about what you're gonna do with the 3+ turnovers we're gonna give you.

We've carefully considered this. We've decided to run dive plays off our undersized guards and center into a 7 or 8 man front. This should make for the manageable 2nd and 9s that have been working.

How does
become
You expect it just because we need it?
Will? Or would? What is the reason for expecting us to establish the run? Is there anything that's happened since Saturday to suggest the running game will suddenly improve?
Why would he wait until we face an "upper tier" defense when we were being held to 30 yards rushing and coming within 6 inches of losing to Mississippi State? You honestly think in a game that tight and tense we were holding something back?
All that sounds great, but what makes anyone think it will happen?
Who doesn't? Wonder when we'll see one.
That's nice. Why?

Pep played some snaps last week and should be good to go. They need to put pressure on Cox and get him uncomfortable. It's pretty simple, if you shut down the Dawgs air attack they are very beatable. With the talent LSU has in the secondary, there is no way they should have trouble covering the UGA receivers with pressure on Cox from the D-Line.
All that sounds great, but what makes anyone think it will happen?

Good plan...as your receivers will only have a 10-15 yard cushion. We call it CWM press coverage.

CWM press coverage
Is that as effective as 3rd and Chavis?

When?
After the Florida game last year?
After the Georgia game last year?
After the Alabama, Ole Miss or Troy games last year?
The Peach Bowl, and that's about it since 2007. People have been dogging the Tigers since September 5th, and we haven't dominated yet.

It's effective for somebody...usually not us.

If history prevails ... that will translate to 13 points ... YTD 10 UGA turnovers has led to 44 points ...

the 3 keys to the game for LSU are:
1. consistent pass protection
2. accurate passing (greatly helped by pass pro)
3. 3rd down defense
if you do those then everything else will take care of itself
