What the frick bowl game has Louisiana Tech ever won? Seriously, I know they tied the Indy Bowl back in the early 90s. And they've been to a bowl or two in the past 20 years but I don't remember them ever winning any.

LSU's offense is not designed to be good. It's a ball control / field position offense. Tech is 2 dimensional and can throw as good as they run. Most TD's come in less than 1 minute. Two different creatures.

This whole debate reminds me of UGA vs Hawaii in the 2008 Sugar Bowl. Some of the same criticisms were made of Georgia. We all saw how that turned out...

I get what you're saying. In a vacuum, yes Techs offense can be successful. But we've seen how well those offenses perform against high tempo, blitzing, defenses with both size and speed on the line. Why do you think the SEC dominates most of their out of conference bowl games? All I'm saying is, if your offense went against an SEC defense the output would be markedly different. Our offense is designed to face those types of defenses, hence the difference in style.

Refuse to give Tech credit for anything. This is a year they deserve credit and you are in here acting like a butt hurt bitch because on one side of the ball Tech may very well be better than LSU.
