Totally agree. A win like this makes the team tougher than a 2-touchdown win would have. Double-digit wins may be easier to watch as a fan, but close wins like last night are the ones we remember.

A great experience for this team. Humbling, teachable moment, bonding, confidence building, confirmation that if you don't ever give up, that you can overcome mistakes, are lessons that young teams need.
I like it so much, that I used the game to share these points with my grandsons who are big Tiger fans.

I rather this confidence building come back win then us jump out to a big lead and then barely hold on to win.
Definitely this. I hate games where we are in control for three quarters then have to hang on for dear life at the end (UNC game comes to mind). Coming from behind like this is a big confidence booster, and hopefully helps the team never let up no matter if we are winning or losing.

but the ending covers up a lot that went very wrong.
now now you know performance does not matter here!!!!!!

Agreed. It was an insane environment in the 4th quarter too. I know the players and recruits could feel the crowd spurring the tigers to victory as the comeback began.

Agree...
Very young but talented team...lots of upside when they get more reps
They grew in their confidence with Jennings...come from behind again
They grew in their confidence with the coaching staff and their adjustments
Still lots of room to rake them over the coals for missed assignments etc.
I'd say we aight.....so far.

I agree with OP. Never felt LSU would lose the game. Enjoyed watching it. Team has potential.
