I think this projection is right on. Still, I wonder why a team like arizona is a 2 with an rpi and record like that. Also, why the hell is dallas baptist an auto in every single projection I have laid eyes on? What have they done that's so noteworthy? All in all...I will take. I was one of the few who was in college station the last time we went to a regional there. That was 1989 and an improbable two win day and night. Pat gatrity hit the go ahead rbi double in 12th inning. Big ben won game one and saved game two. Lots of mlb talent played in that game.

Fwiw, in 2004, we were not a national seed and ended up hosting a&m after they dropped Wichita state. If we did win that regional, we would host only if the other regiona winner is a lower seed. If it's us and pigs, fayetteville gets the nod. They're simply seeded higher.

A&M won the Rice regional in 04. We lucked out when Texas Southern beat Rice in the 1/4 game.
