Are you completely missing the point? Weiss had a better team when he first game to ND, which was with players he didnt recruit. Last year he won 3 games and this year he already has two losses. I heard from several ND fans that this was going to be their year... TW did better than CW.

yeah, he won more than ty did with those guys
tys recruiting beyond that class with quinn was god awful. they had nobody. give them two more years of recruiting the way they have the past two and you will see what im talking about

Let's just hope they are selected to a bowl they should be in for a change. Not some prestigous bowl that they have no business being in. However, it's fun watching them lose, there is a more deserving team than them that should be there. That's the travesty.

Of course the only SEC team to lose three conference games and get to play for the championship against one of the three teams they lost to was LSU.
The Tigers won the SEC in 2001, by beating Tennessee after Fat Phil had owned Quitter Nick in the regular season. LSU had lost three - THREE - conference games and got to replay Tennessee for the SECCG. We won and the Vols were left out of the BCSNCG.

Miles vs. Saban is a pointless argument. Both are very good coaches. Though this loss stings a bit, I'm pretty happy with Les overall.
The Co-DC's may turn out to be a bad decision, but I suspect that budgetary concerns may have forced his hand in this matter. Still, it is early in their first year... Let's hope that they will improve in time.
And it's a bit early to be crowning Bama just yet. They are seriously lacking in depth, and the gruelling SEC schedule will inevitably take a toll on them. Let's see how they finish the year.
Finally let me point out one other thing. After we scored just before halftime to make it 20-7, how many of you were chuckling to yourself because you could see the patented LSU comeback started? I'm sure after the first drive of the 3rd period that just about everyone here was feeling good about our chances. Do you ever recall having that feeling when another coach was here? Well, when you open it up to try and fail, it opens you up to counter strikes. Personally I would rather get spanked by 30 than give up.

We wont find out who the better coach is Nov 8, it isnt an even playing field. LSU has stock piles of talent and depth unlike Alabama.
