I have to say, some of this thread is actually surreal. While I am proud of LSU's diligent compliance staff, Miles certainly should not be LAUDED for being the first head coach in LSU's 118 year history to preside over a program that committed a major NCAA infraction.

I have a been a vocal critic, but he is good at keeping the program clean and the players seem to like him. Give credit where it's due. He's bad at quite a few other things though, so there are offsetting good and bad points.

I'm sure Joe spoke/wrote to Coach bout his failing in this aspect of running the LSU football program.
While there are many reasons to praise Coach on his highly successful tour at LSU,this is not one.
Having said that, it appears Coach/LSU handled things after the fact bout as good as possible.
