It's not just you. The whole team is more crisp. I think it's because they know JL isn't going to stick his hands under the center's arse and forget the play.

I actually felt sorry for JJ last night. I think what MIles is doing to him is unfair to the kid. The frustration in his face is painful to see on a kids face and any of you that have children know what I am talking about.

If Miles does not Start JL at Auburn ,with the pass d that i saw auburn play yesterday, then i have to really question how good of a coach this guy really is. And ive never been on his arse, yet! Ive always gave him the benefit of the doubt. But JL is better suited to start agasint Auburn.

Dead on. Maybe he should show some poise and character like JL did when the world came crashing/bashing on him.

You can't ruin something that wasn't good to begin with.

Terrance Tolliver looks the most pumped up when Lee comes in the game. Lee is the only chance Tolliver has at salvaging this season/career and getting drafted.

makes 2 qb's him and Crowton have ruined. This included RP for allowing him to run buck wild.

But Miles insistence on trotting him out there, one can only guess to protect JJ from pouting,
my guess is Miles still doesn't fully trust Lee...
both +1
and Miles has to protect HIMSELF from us.
The rant would go ballistic if Jarrett Lee throws the LOSING pick6 vs Aubies, Bama, and/or Ark.

because he knows he won't be benched. Hard to have an attitude when you're being humbled (see: Jarrett Lee, Michael Ford)

has made us spew venom at the kid.

Your observation is the same as the announcers and analyst on TV. I've heard those words spoken several times by different individuals on TV while watching LSU play.

I think the ones spewing venom at JJ are doing it for the same reason they spewed at JL. The reason being the job wasn't or isn't getting done.No other reason.Just that simple fact.

i can just about agree with this. the only thing that holds me back from agreeing 100% is when i see jj yelling at the players after HE fricks up.
As for Jefferson as a qb, I am beside myself to understand why he is the starter in every game. No two qb guy am I, and I really think we need a 75%-25% qb situation. Jefferson impresses me as unsure of himself sometimes. He had a BETTER game last night, but by no means a good game. To me his best game was the NC game, and he has deteriorated with each successive game. I think his confidence has eroded. He reminds me of Lee two years ago. I think he is a good athlete, but something is not right. IF I WERE THE COACH, Lee would start, and Jefferson would come in for some situations more suited to his skill set. He needs some success to rebuild him, and I refuse to believe that he has no knowledge of the crtiicisms leveled at him or Coach Miles. He is an asset to the program. I think he has potential, but he is not there yet.
Lee in my mind is the antithesis of Jefferson. Sitting in the south endzone last night, I sense that the team's personality and demeanor change upon the entry of either qb. They seem more focused and upbeat with Lee. Lee, to me any way, has certainly proven himself repetitively as a player and truly committed to LSU's success. He certainly isn't a first round draft choice, but he has talent and he gets better results. Why Coach Miles contiues to play certainly people in situational circumstances concerning the team is an absolute mystery to me.

i think miles was trying to do just the opposite and he based his opinions on practice; something we don't have the priviledge of seeing. so, i'm saying if JJ is ruined, it IS HIS OWN FAULT. life can suck; tough shite. he needs to get up, quit feeling sorry for himself and grow some cajones. and i'm not picking on him; in fact i have defended him as a person and LSU rep many times although i'm a Lee guy. if he thinks this is the only time his life will suck, he's wrong. how he handles this is the most important thing for him right now and i wish him only the best. he's LSU!

this statement is laughable. did you consider your words before posting? are you that naive? should we "lock-down" the atletes in college? you know, to prevent them from running buck wild and all.

If anything, JJ ruined himself....

That's a pathetic statement. The coaches aren't making you do anything. If you're booing the kid then YOU are responsible for it and the consequences it may have on his confidence. Stop with the booing. There will never be any good that comes from it.

I think circumstances have affected/ruined both QBs. I'll call it the TOO SOON SYNDROME. Thanks for nothing RP.
JLee forced into action too soon, had poor running game, and a bad defense. He tried to carry the team and it led to mistakes. Once the mistakes mounted (unusual amount of pick 6's), he was booed, and lost confidence.
JJ was forced in too soon due to JLee's trouble. I remember reading how JJ was having trouble grasping the offense. He had a few decent outings and did well in the first half against Ga Tech. I think that he still has trouble with the mental part. He saw JLee's crash due to int's, the coaches warned against taking chances, and he started to withdraw into his own mental shell. He obviously has trouble accepting criticism, and his bad play only adds to his downward spiral.
Miles is hedging his bets, hoping that JJ has a breakout game. He may need JJ before the season is over, and if JLee has a "young JLee" game or gets hurt, JJ may save a game. FWIW I want JLEE 80%, JJ 15%, and RS 5%.
