I suggest you follow another team. I support my team and who's their coach. He's a great recruiter and a good coach. I agree he gets paid way to much but you were prolly one of those guys screaming for Charlie Macs head only to lead into the worst decade of LSU football history. He's not going anywhere so get over it.
thats BS

bullshite. Half the coaches in the country are better than Miles.

why not blame miles for not recruiting & developing a qb himself?
He did recruit and develop a QB

I'm sure our next coach will have no trouble living off of Miles' incompetence for at least as long.
I'll try this again....what "incompetence" could a new coach live off of exactly?

The 1980s were the worst decade of LSU football history? Your credibility is shot right off the bat.

So, if you thought he was a bad coach, you would still hope he stayed as our coach? Supporting a bad coach who hurts the team is supporting the team? Sounds stupid to me.
Now, if you think he's a good coach, that's a different story. Instead of being stupid (since no one could possibly be THAT stupid), you are just being stubborn. After he is fired, you will be one of those who claims you knew all along he was a bad coach but pretended you thought he was good so you could "support" the team by helping a bad coach stay longer so he could do more damage.

He's not going anywhere as long as we let him stay here, that's for sure. It's not like any other school is going to be stupid enough to take him off our hands.

Whatever. He's nowhere near one of the top five or ten coaches in the country, and if we're willing to pay a top five salary, we should get a top five coach.

The complete lack of development of players at practically all positions. The huge attrition rate leaving us with no line on either side of the ball. The failure to recruit and develop a single QB in six years. The creation of a mentality of mediocrity in which winning half the time and making excuses for the other half is an acceptable substitute for winning consistently. That kind of incompetence.

fail? you guys act like we're the worst program ever. do you guys even remember the 90's. we can't win the NC every damn year
It's not about winning the NC every year. It's about being an elite program. LSU is no longer an elite, top 5 program. Don't you want LSU to be well-respected and feared again? It will never happen under Miles. LSU often shows up flat, unprepared, and uninspired, doesn't play hard for 60 minutes, and Miles gets outcoached pretty much every game. I just think LSU can do a lot better then Miles.

wake up, we are well respected, we are feared, we are an elite top program. this attitude is obsurd.

Heaven forbid I lose credibility with a Gloom-and-Doom fan. OMG! Cholly Mac was "fired" in 1979. Stovall got fired next. Arnsbarger was good for til 87 and then the bottom fell out.

"Bad" is relative. Bitching about a coach is going anywhere sounds stupid to me.

I'll agree he isn't worth the money but still is a good coach who needs to do better. I'll give him a couple of more years because he ain't going anywhere anyway

A QB signed in 2004 would not have been at LSU in 2009.
The problem is not the QB. JJ is the same QB who was the MVP of the bowl game against Georgia Tech. It's the offensive Line and O-Line coach. Christ would be crucified behind last years O-Line. Get over it, it is not the QB. Wilkerson and the new O-Line personnel will solve the problem. Playing favorites on the O-Line is over.

I agree we could play better but then again there are other teams in our predicament who don't have "fire-the-coach" mentalities like our fans. I think you guys not only see the glass half full but completely empty. You guys see the absolute worst case scenario every single play of every single game. It must be brutal to live with that much despair.

he's only had two mediocre seasons with his own players. you guys act as if he had multiple losing seasons. he's got two more years to straighten the ship so there's no need to bitch and moan to the nth degree (not singling you out).
