You're right...i guess he should've kept RP.

He should have never recruited him. Everyone says Miles has great character, but he recruited a lot of kids with poor character. For Miles to have no back up plan is inexcusable. But keep making excuses until the ship has finally sunk.

As long as Coach Miles is still the Head Coach at LSU the horse is not dead.

I respect the man's efforts on behalf of my team, I choose not to spend my forum time bashing on the LSU coach on an LSU forum, and I choose not to believe that Miles would intentionally seek to insult/hide from/avoid contact with an LSU fan on the LSU campus.
If you equate that with my having a "mancrush, knock yourself out.

Every coach in history has recruited guys with poor character

Yeah, Saban had a genius backup plan in '02 when we had to go with sophomore Marcus Randle after Mauck went down and a 5-1 team wound up 8-5. His plan was even better in '04 when his backup was STILL Marcus Randle and a not-ready redshirt freshman in Jamarcus Russell. And this is not to bash Saban at all, but he's not infallable. And shite happens. To everybody. Not just Les Miles.

By the way, I also think we were victims of our own good QB recruiting. With Jamarucs, Flynn, and RP all on the same roster, I'm sure it was tough to get the other 5* QBs that we wanted.

Saban's players are gone. End of Story.

If you want to talk about quality of players Miles recruited vs prick $aban, you're fighting a losing battle!! Look at recruiting class rankings and what the kids AND parents say about Miles vs the "assholish" stories about $aban!

CT,

I'm calling BS on the story about the dude and his kid.

Where is this trophy room you speak of?

The trophy room I know of, and have been in recently is adjacent to the lawton room in the stadium. It's not open to the public, and if you are in there you won't be by yourself. Also, if you really did see him in the operations facility, it's no shock that he didn't say anything to you. That's his workplace and if he stops to say hi to every person that walks through there he would get nothing done.

This is not in the stadium this the practice facility across the train tracks from old Alex Box. I didn't expect him to stop and carry on a conversation. Just friendly wave or how you doing. Instead he sticks his nose up in the air like his crap don't stink

Yes, I know where that is. What I am saying is that the trophies are in the stadium, not the practice facility.

Well the room with the crystal balls, Billy Cannons Heisman. There is a set stairs to your right when you walk into the door the leads to Les Miles office. That is where I was when Les walked by and we were the only ones down stairs. There were people up stairs

If LSU can beat Alabama and UF next year, who do they gonna lose to go 10-2??? Ole Miss and R-Kansas???

Substitute Kentucky for Ole Miss and you have the 2007 regular season, although in 2007 Alabama and Florida were obviously not what they are in 2010.

As of right now, I would say the majority don't mind LM going to Michigan at all (even after a 10-2 season)

I would be happy to see it. Then everyone could be happy. We get a good season and get rid of a mediocre coach, he gets his dream job, and they get...well, they get someone who at least has beaten Jim Tressel.

regardless what most think, qbs progress the most after their second year to their third year if starting.

Oh, is that what it is now? Funny how that keeps changing the longer Jefferson sucks. First, he was going to be great this year because he was experienced. Then, he was a rookie this year because he sucked and we forgot he started two games last year and went through bowl practice, spring practice and fall practice as the clear starter. So now, he has to start ANOTHER year (his second) before he improves in his third year (2011).

Great.

Wrong. Just the opposite. Supporting someone who is hurting LSU makes the school worse off, not better. LSU has NEVER benefitted from sticking with a failing coach (failing coach = making the program worse). NEVER. Not one fricking time.

Jefferson and Lee neither one is any better today. Than the day got there. To me that is coaching or lack of coaching.
