Its true, they are not playing him because of despite of us or they are idiots. I think we will see more of him this year though..BIlly G should know what to do with him because he could be similar to harvin

Has it ever occured to you that , maybe, his skills just didn't translate to the college level and he will never live up to the(impossible to live up to) hype he got when he signed with LSU

while he may not be as athletic as advertised, it's clear he's mainly a runner, and needs to be used as a runner

it's more about usage than RS

in harvin's true sophomore year he almost had 1,000 yards rushing and receiving.

I didnt say he was harvin, he can be played in the same role as him and who better to do it than Billy Gonzalez...Also look who Harvins QB was his true sophmore year and look who ours was.

yeah our "passing game coordinator" needs to take over krag's pro-style offense and start infusing option

worked well with crowton

I just think he needs space to create and if a QB can lead him consistently then he will be very productive. He is also vocal and can be a leader so he is a key part of our team

all we have are pocket passers

Just give it a year with a new OC and new QB....think about it.....R Randle was #1 WR in the nation and we know he still can be with the right company....he was money for us this year even with our QB play

I actually think RS would be perfect to be the new return man. When he does get his hands on the ball, he can run with it, esp open field.

He played quite a bit last year. Yeah, I agree they need to figure out a way to get him more touches, but even when he got chances this year, it really did not show him to be all that special. I think in the end, things will work out for him. He is still young and learning things.

Are you on crack? He scored like 5th time he touched the ball.

I think the coaching staff will do whats best for the team. He has to learn the playbook first.

well, everyone has to do this

and if he's having trouble with a role at WR, then it makes even more sense to use him at RB more

RB is a much simpler position with a lot less to read

Ok. Let me see if I have this right:

Some shipping manager from Pineville knows more about football than a professional coaching staff? Some shipping manager from Pineville knows better how to play an athlete than the athlete himself? Some shipping manager from Pineville knows more about the recruiting process than the people that do this for a living?

Is that about it? Is that what you would have us believe?

No way I think we put him at KR, hes to small for that and would get potentially get hurt with his speed and the way he runs. I think he will be fine this year, WR isnt a easy posistion to learn as far as route running, etc...junior year he should have it down......even some screen plays for him would be nice.

Krag likes to run a little mis direction too and that could be interesting with sheppard as far as reverses and stuff goes.

RS is at best a wildcat qb. He might be a good slot receiver one day but now hes still way to raw at the receiver position. Can't run routes well and catching is below par. He could be a change of pace back like Trindon Holliday was but doesn't have the right frame to be a feature back.
He would be best with an offense that focuses mostly on him sorta like Denard Robinson at Michigan.
Like a poster before me said that he's the NFL version of Reggie Bush where there is just no place to put him and he can't just run by everyone like he did in Highschool.

learn to catch the ball

learn to run correct routes

learn to be serious when seriousness is needed

Love me some RS but the majority of this is on the man himself
