I told my neighbor (UT Alum) last week to expect to see my flag flying when we meet UT.

Austin Alums, see you at Lavaca St.

Best of luck to the Tigers - Outside of my allegiances I have a couple fun bets with my LSU buds running on this series.

This is what its all about - Texas and LSU, national powerhouses and undefeated contenders in Omaha. Best scenario for college baseball, I expect to hear quite a bit about the ratings records. I am real nervous, maybe too much for being jsut a fan. Between my anxiety and the US Open finish, my work day is essentially shot.

I am also very sorry to see such a poor image some of you have for my fanbase, I know the worst of it as any of you do I'm sure, but don't let a couple idiots ruin it for the rest of us

haha yeah - you guys get a boatload of traffic on here, so anytime I post it usually just gets caught in the wash - so I'm a little less active here but you guys, and I mean the posters who are quite active on the subject, cover recruiting like few other sites.

I have my LSU flag flying and just got my LSU plates on my new truck this past Friday. I have a bet with a Texas fan at $20 per game and $20 for the series. No problems with Longhorn fans here....yet

I've been driving around Baton Rouge for the last two days with Texas plates on my van and not one person said anything other than Good Luck. I guess LSU fans have more classs than the horn fans.

Well at least in San Antonio (Or Houston/Dallas/ Austin) you probably HAVE a good high paying job, unlike in the Republic of Bananas.......

I was born in Dallas and lived here all my life, but all family is from Louisiana and LSU and thus . . . I am a hardcore Tiger fan.

Texas fans a pain in the a$$. They complain when they don't win and think they are the clear cut champs when they do (even though it took a Vince Young miracle 4th and Forever run to win it).

There would be nothing more sweet than to shut up the Horns with a little Tiger Bait a$$ kicking. I have been sporting the purple and gold for two weeks hoping it could come down to this.

Father on board of supervisor and we were on the field for that game. We were kicking their arse at half. Marcus Randel took some cold medicine and went stupid in the second half. And we couldn't tackle Roy Williams.

I was pissed about that loss for months. Thanks for bringing that up.

Yep. (Guess I did pick up that Texas phrase) Glad to have been living in Big D for the last 21 yrs. My daughters, two of whom graduated from LSU are living around the corner, and their kids are flying the only LSU flags in the area among lots of burnt orange. Man, it's fun! Geaux Tigers!

Been in Dallas/Ft. Worth (Bedford to be precise) for 19 years...

I am really looking forward to the next couple of weeks (assuming LSU wins of course). Anytime I see someone with a "UT" on their car I will pull in front so they can read all of the "LSU's" on my car and descend into depression. It probably won't be as good as pulling in front of OU fans in 2003, but it will still be nice.
